It is time to trade amare for some interior depth and defense at this point.

We have to do this because as far as trades nothing else works.

Lopez and dragic are worthless contracts no one will take.

We don't have draft picks to mix in with crappy rookies.

Barbosa is still on a cheap contract and shows promise sometimes, it would be a one for one player type of deal if we get any type of value. Why bother?

We have no other choice at this point but to try to swing a trade for amare, basically.

This team makes me sick. We get double digit leads on some of the NBA's doormats and yet you dont feel comfortable. Why? Because time and time again, they let the competition back in the game in what seems like a split second. Plus, we still have the same bad habits as we did the last four seasons. Perhaps we should have kept D'Antoni around as nothing has really changed

All I will say is I do not like Barnes' game, nor the attitude he brings to the team. He cries too much and gets over emotional and makes stupid fouls. He belongs on the Spurs not the Suns.

He has cost us big 2 nights in a row.

Why did Nash not call a timeout right away? Bad habit never goes away, it seems.

Pretty sad how badly this team is mismanaged. Sitting Shaq to try to win the easier game instead of both, and ending up losing both.

Bad habit from the D'Antoni days I suppose. :( D'Antoni would let him go without calling a timeout.

We have to trade amare, we have no options at this point.

If we sit pat and play shaq more then we break down in the playoffs.

If we sit pat and keep this up we are going to end up with a #7-9 position in the west, either being in terrible playoff position or missing the playoffs entirely.

It sucks but this is the reality right now. Accept it or fade away.

I think Griffin said it well in the Nuggets thread.

So, we can't beat the Nuggets with Shaq, and we can't beat the T-Wolves without him? Then we are not a very good team.

Maybe it's time to question if the Suns are a good team. It's not just tonight's game but the Suns do not know how to win close games or put teams away. The Dallas game being a notable exception. It does not look good for the Suns going on the road not rebounding and playing poor defense.

Maybe the excuses need to stop.

In regards to why didn't nash take a timeout:
Isn't the rule that once you rebound the ball and dribble it once and take a timeout then the ball doesn't advance up to the other side of the court. I didn't see the replay, but didn't Hill grab the rebound and put the ball on the court once? If that was the case then Nash had to dribble it up past half court to take the time out.

Please... If anything he is good in setting up clutch shots after timeouts, the Suns hit a lot of them under DA. I can hardly believe this could have happened with him.

Anyway the one thing I didnt get why was Nash in the whole fourth quarter after playing 45 minutes yesterday?

Defensive rebounding was awful, just awful, that costed us the game.

No backup PG that can play?

I want to also point out that, although I wasn't opposed to Shaq sitting out games this season as long as he's fresh for the playoffs. But Shaq sitting last night to be fresh for tonight caused a few other suns to be more fatigued for tonights game.

Trade Amare and we miss the playoffs. No question about it. Then we have the next couple of years with Nash and Shaq where we dont even contend for the playoffs. After that we have cap space that will be used to extend Nash, sign a average player to a big contract because players refuse to play for a organization that has gotten worse without Jerry C. It will be fun.

Like on the postgame, why did Shaq even travel to Denver when he wasn't to play? He could have been MORE rested if he staying in Phoenix.
