Which means that it is breaking even right about now when all costs are considered (going formula seems to be production cost times 2.5, or $200 million x 2.5= $500 million).

I just saw this. I also have not read the book. I thought it was fairly entertaining. There were flaws with it but it was fast paced and pretty intense. Until the end that is. Then it just dropped off and ended when I was expecting it to go on. What a terribly weak ending.

Yeah, I enjoyed the film, but was not satisfied with the ending.
