Just unbelievable how bad it's been, in a year with Phoenix Metro had probably its best year in producing blue-chip talent. They only had about 18 scholies to give and ... I'm not even sure they got all their numbers.

Does the signing of QB Michael Eubank and DT Mo Latu make you feel any better?

Since arriving in Tempe, Dennis Erickson has landed 16% of the 4 and 5 star talent the state has produced, thats deplorable. Arizona HS talent is never going to be on the level of California, Texas, et al but it is getting better all the time and ASU needs to be landing about 50% or more of that top talent if they want to be real contenders.

Yep. Pretty depressing day in Sun Devil land.

Not really. Eubank is QB No. 2 in this class and a project. A nice project, yes, but unless he can play left tackle in three years, this really, really, really hurts.

No, it was actually true, Mulli. Peat said he was leaning towards ASU last night until on the way home from a basketball game, he was stuck behind some snowbird with a Nebraska license plate and he said, "it just hit me."

So, yes, ASU was, in fact, out-recruited by a license plate. A license plate had a better sales pitch than Dennis Erickson's staff.

Couldn't believe what I was reading when I saw that on the live blog earlier today.

And then I sent it to my a couple Sun Devil buddies :)

You guys had me worried on Kadeem Carey. I am glad he decided to stay home. Tough signing day for both teams.

Better to have recruited and lost than to have never recruited at all. UofA was never even in the running for Peat so I'm not sure UA fans should be casting any stones.

Sorry literary reference's are out of your depth.

Hey Shakespeare - If you think you are going over peoples heads with that reference, you must really surround yourself with complete idiots.

Oh wait I forgot I am in the ASU forum ;)

I heard that they had the 10th rated recruiting class and I was blown away.

Then I realized it was for the PAC12.

FML.

Bragging about either class is pathetic. We both crapped the bed, can we just all move on and hope these guys develop?

+1. No school can say they can out winners this year. The only thing helping both teams is that they have a lot of returning starters. But another class like these and that's all she wrote folks.

I am not sure the Arizona guys are coming in here and bragging about the class. I just thought the license plate story by Peat was pretty funny. Don't think many UA fans are delusional enough to think we just signed a difference making class yesterday. Not sure that was the expectation going in any way so its not like I am terribly let down.

Why the heck would I be talking about football right now anyway? If I am coming to the ASU forum to brag.....ITS TO TALK ABOUT OUR CONFERENCE LEADING BASKETBALL TEAM!

OHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Carry On :D

I guess what didn't hit him was the fact that someone left Nebraska to be here during the winter time. I wonder how many Phx natives regret going to much colder climates when they start freezing their cups off.
