Sorry, but your're not even close on this one. While our OLB's are not anywhere near ideal, the ILB's are near league tops, (and they look to get better when D-Wash returns). Thus far our LB's have played the run better than most throughout the league, and the tackling improved greatly from last week after BA gave attention to it. (That in itself is a huge improvement from a Whiz coached team).
Granted, our OLB's lack ideal speed to rush from the edge, but they possess the strength to set the edge against the run, and Bowles did make half time adjustments that helped preserve a win. The lack of speed is not the players fault, (you can't teach speed). This defensive unit has improved each game so far, and our staff gives reason to believe that this improvement will continue as they gain experience in the scheme. For such a terrible unit, they played pretty well this week, giving up only 49 yards rushing, and holding Detroit to 21 points.
