Would this guy be a wasted pick for QB in round 2 or 3?

Why there are doubts about Jackson being able to play qb and considering him switching his position in the nfl and Allen who is less accurate, and played in a weaker division is considered a legit pro qb?

Ok, jackson put up 1600 yards rushing yards but averaged 3500 passing yards for season

The guy is a qb and he will show u he is going to be a pretty good qb

The thought is that a QB is most protected inside the pocket, and running QB's take more of a beating because they're always breaking from the pocket and open to more hits/exposure. If someone like Cam or Luck gets injured running...you can pretty much guarantee someone as thin as Lamar will get broken in half. Also a reason why the league covets pocket passers...they typically have a longer shelf life in most instances.

No I get all that, I guess I did not phrase my question very well. If everyone thinks his body is frail, wouldn't he be just as likely to get injured in the pocket as well as running?

Now I'll say this, he's my pick at #15, so all this talk about 2nd and third round is funny to me. He'll be a first round pick.

Well, I don't know. I think I would take any of the qb's being mentioned on here.

The Cards need to make a list from one to two hundred or so in the order that they want to draft players and tick them off until #15 gets there and choose him. I would hope if they want one of the qb's, then the top five or six choices should be a QB.

In my mind, it's a very simple process. I hope they do get a QB, though.:)

Go Cards.

All these QB's, much like the HC candidates, show promise, but no one really stands out as the clear #1.

I'm going to wait until after the combine before really assessing them.

They both have a completion percentage in the 50's so I don't think either will be good.

I still like the idea of Mason Rudolph and would love to see him really get down at the combine. If he has the arm stregnth and the brains, to go with his size, to me he could be the next Big Ben. Supposedly the combine will show us the kid's true upside.

The combine doesn't show much for qb's
Just the team's interviews can understand the knowledge they have and tapes of games

He doesn't move quite as well as Big Ben but he makes good decisions and throws a real good deep ball.
