Dude your topics are getting worse. Why not both genius, no-one said it was one or the other. The Cap is moving up every year. Its not like if we get Boldin signed we will just let Dockett and Dansby walk.

You're presuming we can only do one or the other, which I don't agree with.

Boldin has made a probowl already, will probaly make several more. Lets get Dockett and Dansby resigned when the time comes. Didn't both sign like 6 year contracts. It not like theyre holding out this year.

And don't forget with the new stadium it gives us more money with the naming rights, concessions, parking and suite deals.

How many years does Boldin have left on his?

2 years left on a contract. I believe we should never redo a contract that that has more than 1 year remaining. We need to send the message now even if it means over paying for Boldin next year

This might sound stupid but......just let him sit on he bench for the next 2 years if he refuses to play

also......I would like to see one full or near full year out of Boldin b4 we pay him to make sure that he can stay healthy and still play

Unless Dansby turns into a Ray Lewis caliber LB he won't get a new deal. He was the 1st pick of the 2nd round and got a very good rookie deal. Don't get me wrong. I think Dansby was awesome, but he hasn't shown anything near the level of play as Boldin in his rookie season. Plus he has a much better deal, so it's going to be harder for Dansby to demand a new deal.

IMO( we should get a deal done for Q now. It's something that was promised by the team and spoken about by the coach. He was a first year pro bowler and last year playing half the games as Fritz had just about as many catches and yards. Why are many of you disliking this kid for doing so well. He is an exceptional player and we brought up the new deal not him as far as I know.
Like others have said he was on the poster. He broke all pro recieving records for the first two years and only played a year and a half. He is a good guy with a great attitude and work ethic. Sometimes you have to be flexable in your bussiness when something unique happens. Q Is unique IMO.

Wow I think you're more like Nash throwing assists for easy slam dunks than Adrian Wilson laying hits...

This may sound stupid but my opinion is to let Q play out his contract as is.

He had one great year and now he dosen't fit too well in the system, This may be DG's fault to some extent since he had to have Fitz but this is the NFL not romper room.

I'd be ok with a really big raise too if it's fair for his ability and position, he could take it or leave it as far as I am concerned.

If no deal is done at all maybe but let's get real here he has two years left there is no way out of this for him.

We retain his rights no matter if he plays or not. Correct me if I am wrong but I think a player with only two years in the league is a restricted rights player and that means that unless we cut him he's ours and the clock stops if he sits out.

Otherwise Barry Sanders could have played for anyone he chose after his contract ran out.
