Would you take Mallett in round 2?

No, mostly because we HAVE to take an OLB. We're painted into a corner (literally, a PP7 corner ;)).

Leinart Part II

Get ready for more hot tub and beer bong photos and lots of camp controversy.

On NFL Network, they said he's the smartest and one of the physically best QB's out there.........compared him to Sam Bradford.

I have this odd feeling that the best quarterback in this draft is going to be Mallett, even though I don't think there's a lot of evidence that he can overcome personality issues. I'm in on it, but I prefer Justin Houston or Kyle Rudolph.

Yes either Mallet or Houston if available. Mallet is the best QB in this draft. Does he have his head on straight is another question ?

With all these teams going full stupid, I expect him to be drafted in the 1st.

:biglaugh:

It has been a whacky draft so far. Hopefully this works to our favor.

Which pass rusher will be there for us at 38?

Yes, I am still baffled by Locker getting swooped up at 8. Then again, I am still not over Tebow as a first rounder last year. Cards got their pick right this year, somehow I thought they would F it up.

No way, dont take him. I dont care if hes good or not, a guy like him cannot be the face of your franchise. The one thing i notice is that i know hes a pot head. A few years ago i used to smoke weed everyday and i know a pothead when i see one. forget him..

Any chance Buffalo takes Mallet

Cincy is much more likely.

Personally I wouldn't touch him. He's not a good fit for an NFL offense. Can't move (the guy was outrun by most of the OLine prospects), lengthy release and often forces into traffic after staring down 1 receiver. The last thing could possibly be fixed. The other 2 not likely

Yeah, Jake Locker in the first round?

This is already one of the greatest drafts in Cardinals history because it WASN'T US taking Jake Locker in the top 10.

I wouldn't have used a fricking fourth round pick on Locker.
