Well if you buy into K9's "jimmy's and joe's" right now that's about how long it will be this fall for the Cards to go 0-6. Unless they get a very early bye week.

One question. If the Cards are rebuilding and trying to get younger why are they signing 35 year old Safeties?

The Bidwills want to attract senior citizens and rename the franchise to Sun City Cardinals

Yup.. Team is destroyed..

Gee I love you man but youve gone crazy. We were 5-11 last year and had 3 8 game losing streaks in 4 years. This aint the 85 Bears.

Change is good in this instance.

I laugh at fans like my boy Chris saying underbelly signings. LOL bro we arent competing with Seattle and SF even if we sign Jake Long, Reggie Bush, and Mike Wallace for big money. In fact that would be incredibly stupid.

Cutting dead weight + bringing in mid level starters on 2-3 year deals + drafting stars around our current stars = Road to success.

First two underway and still going. Bring on April.

FYI whats happening now is what happened with Pete Carroll went to Seattle in 2009. Blow it up and go young.

Worked out well for them. THIS is how we compete for division titiles in 2014. Not high cost band aids that win the offseason.

Keim >>>>>> Graves. Couldnt be any more obvious.

Glad I could amuse you. Please convince me we didn't sign a bunch of backups.

It's fairly obvious that we weren't going to compete with the SF and Seattles of the world, and nowhere did I say we should sign any of the players you suggested. That would be a huge mistake.

Just don't ask me to be gleeful about the prospect of another crap season. (or two, or more) Here's to hoping we figure the draft out, and find a QB. It'll be pretty lean years until then.

Anyone who was looking at the 2013 season and expecting to compete with Seattle or San Francisco was kidding themselves even if Whisenhunt had stayed. It was painfully obvious since October that a major portion of this roster had to go. I'm so glad to finally see it happening. This season was never about competing. It was about rebuilding. That's what needed to happen.

Will the Cards compete with SF and SEA this year no. Will they be better than some people are saying they will be this year? Definitely.

Blame Wiz and Kevin Kolb. Its simple cause and effect. This is the right way to do things when you dont have a QB. Titans and Browns are fools IMO.

Prediction: We have our best rookie class in 10 years. I like the guy picking and there will be TONS of opportunity.

People this isnt Rod Graves show anymore. Show some faith in Kiem. There is a reason hes highly regarded in league circle. Dude know his s---

Just watch.

I'm having a hard time believing Kiem is orchestrating all these signings so far.. 90% of these signings have direct ties to Arians or someone on the coaching staff has coached before.. Unless Kiems philosophy was to go out and get players the coaches already coached before..

Keim isn't stupid. He saw Graves let the best players leave and sign crappy FA's to ridiculous contracts. Once he reaches for Lane Johnson at #7, he's secured a 15 year run in the Cards front office.

Again, my question is if you are going young why are you signing a 35 year old DB, a 29 year old QB, a 30 year old kick returner, and a 30 year old LB? (ages as of start of 2013 season)

Not knocking any of these guys just wondering where the young is. Of course to our coaching staff 35 IS young.

It was painfully obvious since October that we needed to replace four-fifths of our secondary? I have a hard time believing that many of us looked at our roster in January and said, "You know what? These scrubs on the Top 5 pass defense in the NFL last year have to go. They clearly can't play anymore."

This would be a more convincing arugment if we'd used the money saved in cutting Wilson, Rhodes, and Gay to improve the offense, but instead we've completely tread water at RB and downgraded in talent at QB.

We're cheaper, I guess, but you can't even say that we're better. How are you rebuilding when you're signing old players to replace guys that weren't under contract for 2014 anyway?

And the Niners did the complete opposite after firing Singletary...they didn't blow it up, they added talent & are the best team in the NFC.

Show me the book on building a championship NFL team & the chapter that says "blow up the best part of your team" and then you're a winner.
