Terrelle Pryor is still out there, I'm amazed we haven't at least brought him in for a visit. I would enjoy bringing him in and drafting at least three guys. (Something like the 2nd, 4th, and 7th pick.)

I'm so in agreeance with this Solar. I beleive he would relish a fresh start with a "potential" winner and flourish!

Counting on Williams is begging for trouble; he contributed nothing and didn't look to be developing at all. Nelson? An okay 3rd or 4th option. Without a #1, Fitz will get double teamed all the time, and there won't be ANY threat of a passing game, leaving 8 in the box on a consistent basis, damaging the run game. And to leave that dumpster fire of a situation until late in the draft/a vet or two prior to camp is threatening to burn the whole season.
Honest question, who have we had opposite of Larry that has kept him from being doubled? We have a vertical threat WR. If teams are doubling Larry, it is up to Bradford and JJ to make that connection. You have a big bodied WR in Chad Williams to handle some underneath routes and intermediate areas. You get another vet guy to fill in the Jaron Brown role and we should be good.

John Brown didn't do anything last year to take pressure off of Fitz. Michael Floyd did little the year before. We haven't had a #1 WR opposite of Fitz for years and it hasn't mattered...why worry now? What did Brown, Brown and drunk Floyd give us that Jeremy Maclin can't?

Anquan Boldin?

Anyways, Floyd did an adequate job for many years. He came down with plenty of contested balls and had big catches. His last year here, he was really bad... seems like he had a big issue with booze that came to light. Maclin has fallen off a complete cliff, with decent QBs throwing to him. He's done.

Fitz may still get the numbers, but for this to be a winning offense, it's going to need more than in routes to Fitz.

Ok Stout, back that truck up on Chad Williams. Unless you are taking the word of the staff under Arians and how they handle rookie on a obscure practice field. Williams never had a chance to show you he was developing or not and when he did get a chance (like once in a blue moon for lack of seeing him get a chance) he did not exactly stink. When you say Chad Williams to me, I am like, "oh, that guy who had the clutch catch on third down in congested space and that long gain on a reverse, and then never was involved by the quarterback or the coach"

My worry is that Chad Williams is still here! Pryor likely out of price range.

But we signed cobi hamilton, a 28years old wr with 300yards in the nfl
I hope he can compensate your disappointment about Pryor out of our range

I won't write him off completely (though I hated the pick--damn Keim!), but to count on him to be a big contributor is crazy.

Seriously, the reasoning is because of when we had Anquan Boldin??? Come on...it is a want, not a need. Besides, we don't have Kurt Warner around slinging the ball. There is plenty of time to add WRs once we actually have a QB to build around. Until then, there is no point in using high draft picks or spending money on them.

To count on Sam Bradford is crazy, but we are doing it. Why would a WR be any different? If we are winning in 2018, Bradford is throwing the ball like 25 times a game. You don't need to spend much money or use top draft picks if that is the case. If Bradford is throwing it more, well then we will be starting Glennon sooner rather than later. You don't need to spend much money or use top draft picks if that is the case. It is a luxury item that we do not have the luxury to take.

You asked when the last time we had one was, a true #1 across from Larry, and when we did, Larry had 1,500 yards. Not that he's that young and would be able to do that now, and not that we need a player of Anquan's caliber there.

But we need someone capable of putting up more than 500 yards... and especially someone capable of putting up more than 31 (Chad Williams).
