What the hell was Arians thinking with less than a minute to go in the first half? Have Lee punt and pin Seattle down near their own goal line and they simply run out the clock, even a touchback would have sufficed. No, instead he tries on 4th down fails, and give Seattle the ball almost at the 40 yd. line. They were lucky Seattle didn't get a TD.

Agree. Was telling my niece this was a stupid decision.

Well, if Andre Ellington could run and chew gum at the same time, there's a six point swing prior to halftime. I don't know if they'd have won though. Stanton missed too many wide open throws but that's not a surprise. I think it was 2 very mediocre teams out there playing. Seattle is not even close to a SB contender in my eyes.

Put Earl Thomas back into that mix and I think you’d have an NFC Championship participant. I’m interested to see how tha D looks without Sherman against someone with a pulse.

But it was!

Yep.

Didn't think we would win, but was happily surprised the Cardinals didn't pull one of their infamous, "get their doors blow off in a HUGE blowout, down by 21+ in the 2nd quarter on national TV" type games.

Kept it close, kept it interesting enough. I got my money's worth, and made taking today off, worth it.

Not to mention it is gorgeous out today, and I get to do lawn work (which I like to do).

Its all good.

As for the team, I agree, there is a lot wrong, and a lot of work to do. Yet, this offseason will feel like an unforced "gutting" of the roster, and maybe even the coaching staff. Since there are a lot of players that could leave/retire/cut for $$$.

It will be pretty close to a blank sheet. Weirdest thing will be no Larry Fitzgerald.

But everything is on the table. Coaches, players, systems, philosophies.........going to be intense/interesting.

I want to jump the gun and start talking about 2018, but there is plenty of time for that later.

With 7 games left, who knows what happens, who comes out of no where, who earns a spot next year, and who loses one.

No but as the game dragged on it was painfully obvious that a healthy Cardinals team wins this game easily.

Would the healthy cardinals have beaten a healthy Seahawks team?

Not so sure about that

Hawks by 6, just like Vegas said it would be.

Ended up being one huge throwaway pass completion on a scramble from being an OT game or possibly an upset, too.

Tonight was the official unveiling of all that is wrong with this team...

- Age showed up... Bethea, Williams, Dansby, Frostee... That catch by Baldwin on Wilson's scramble was a pathetic display of athleticism by Bethea. Embarrassing really...

- Badger is no Badger no more...

- The loss of Calais has killed this team. And is it concerning that Olson Pierre appears to have more upside than Diche??

- O-Line... They suck as much as any other oline this team has fielded under BASK...

- No QBoF...

- No legit threat at WR after Larry.

Also, was I the only one who was frustrated to see the Hawks field a very promising CB opposite of Sherman> When we've struggled to find anything at CB opposite of PP21?? Ugh....

You damn right we could have won and beaten these Seahawks... now the current Rams are a different story

They still had Wilson I don't care who else is out. Better Question is do they win if both teams played without their starting QB's?

IMO as hard as we played we win ether case.

Yes thought we would win at home, out played them stats , time, first downs - but we are soft and they are tougher, with more endurance physically and mentally, I don’t where we go from here,

We’re going to have to rebuild around DJ -
