It is BEYOND WEIRD that you think the Rams game meant anything h considering we were eliminated the WEEK BEFORE AFTER LOSING TO CAROLINA.

The Rams game was completely meaningless. This can’t even be argued in any way shape or form.
meaningless to the Cardinals the Rams needed to win that game

Sorry. You have to do better than that.

What criteria are you basing that on?
How about we start with the fact that Bowers was already superior this year not just in stats but by the eye test as well.

Throw in a pick this year on top of Bowers rookie season blowing MHJ away and I’d like to see the argument made in favor of MHJ alone at this point.

Are we really debating that we should have Brock Bowers and Trey McBride?
Are you really going to laud Monti for building the team in the draft and FA with the Patriot way as you have for two years… and then scoff at idea of building the offense in the Patriot way?

This should be good…

BB was the coach of the Patriots for 24 years and had two excellent TE's like you are suggesting for three of them. FYI - didn't win the Super Bowl in any of those three years.

Is that the Patriot way?

Jon Gaines has done almost nothing. Elijah Moore has literally done nothing. Beej has been Zaven Collins as a pass rusher and Dennis Gardeck as a run defender.

There are no busts in year one or two but there are guys on that trajectory.
Agree on Gaines

We played a lot of TE's this year (according to this ~44 percent of snaps 2 or 3 TE's). I suspect Bowers and McBride together might have made things more interesting.

If these were our TE's, those percentage numbers would likely be higher. Based on what we ran I'd say he might be a better fit for Uncle Fester's offense.

Don't forget Bowers had Minshew and Aidan O'Connell throwing to him, and did well even after they shipped off Adams.

Hindsight is 2020. Luckily Harrison has plenty of talent, so it's not like we drafted Clyde Duncan. I'm fine with Harrison as a player, even if we should wish for more dawg in him. But as of the first season, Bowers or Nabers were the top dawgs in the draft. Now we'll see in a few if Ladd McConkey shines in the postseason. Guy is on a tear to end the season.

Bowers would have had 50 or more less catches on this team. He’s would have watched McBride half the time.
Situations matter.
Situations do matter and considering we run more multiple TE looks than probably 2/3s of the rest of the league and that we have a QB who loves throwing to TEs more than anything else, somehow saying Bowers would have 50 less catches shows a fundamental misunderstanding of exactly the situation our offense plays in..
