Here is my list of options at #16. No particular order here. Some of these guys will very likely be selected before 16. This may be a little high for some of the players, but it is early in the process.

DL
Mason Graham - Michigan
Kenneth Grant - Michigan
Walter Nolen - Ole Miss
Derrick Harmon - Oregon
Omar Norman-Lott - Tennessee
Shemar Stewart - Texas A&M

EDGE
Abdul Carter - Penn St
James Pearce Jr - Tennessee
Jalon Walker - Georgia
Mike Green - Marshall
Mykel Williams - Georgia
Princely Umanmielen - Ole Miss

EDIT: Point of note. I don't rate any of the OL options as better options. They may rank similarly, but the current roster and positional value bumps them. Same with WR and CB. Also, Malaki Starks and Ashton Jeanty could be available when the Cardinals picks and would be better prospects but not an option IMO.
I like your top 3 DTs. I’d put Harmon before Nolen who’s mostly an anchor. I think Umanmielen is the most undevalued Edge; most versatile.

are we concerned about graham/grant and walker/williams benefiting off each other?

Looks a lot like a Darius Robinson clone with maybe a bit more burst. I like him as I liked DRob last year. I don't know about having two guys that similar on the same line. Seems like it would make you very light up front. Shemar is a bit frustrating to watch because he really struggles to finish sacks.

If Kyzir walks

And I’m usually opposed to ILB in the first two rounds

But if Carson Schwesinger is there in the 2nd, which he most likely will be

I would really have to think about it

Man, that would be high for an ILB. I don't know the prospect but, if YOU like a high pick ILB, I'm figuring he must be legit. It would be peak Monti to let Kyzir walk, do little to nothing to replace him in FA, and then force our hand in the draft. Of course, with the D, he might just ignore it altogether lol

Mock from SI that has Pearce from TN coming to the desert.

Interesting that SI lists our biggest needs as Edge, DL, and..... WR? :) wow...

We technically were not eliminated with the Carolina loss, but we pretty much were.
What are you talking about? We were eliminated from the playoffs after we lost technically, literally and any other way, shape or form.

If you don’t believe me, take it straight from the Cardinals mouth:

“Yet there was a palpable sting resonating in the visitors locker room Sunday at Bank of America Stadium, after the Cardinals unexpectedly and frustratingly lost to the Panthers, 36-30, in overtime to see their playoff hopes end. The Rams had already won in in New York against the Jets, a combination that killed off any postseason talk.”

The Rams won their game before ours ended in a L in OT. The moment we lost, the playoffs were a complete and utter impossibility in every way.

I'm fully willing to admit that I might be wrong here, but I thought at the time, there was albeit rare scenario in which all 3 teams (Us, Rams, Seahawks) could have had a record of 9-7. Seattle would have been eliminated first out of the tiebreaker due to only have a 3-3 division record. We then would have had the tiebreaker against LA if we beat them both times.

Then you should do so. Just to show the board you can.

You’re wrong.

I mean… did you even read the quote in my post that literally came from the link posted where the Cardinals website said they were eliminated from any post-season possibility after losing to the Panthers. It’s there… quoted in black and white in my post and backed up with the link to the article straight from the Arizona Cardinals website.

It doesn’t say pushed to the brink of elimination. It says ELIMINATED. This was only six weeks ago or so. You don’t remember how pissed/morose everyone was because we HAD to win that game to have any prayer of ending up in a three way tie and it was now impossible, knocking us out of the playoffs?

Here’s another link from profootballnetwork.com that shows who’s still in the hunt and who’s eliminated the week after the Panthers game and before the Rams game in Week 17:

Here another link from Sporting News for the same week showing us eliminated:

Here’s another from NBC sports showing us mathematically eliminated.

Do you still need more proof that you’re wrong?

Nope, but I didn't need any more proof of your crappy attitude either.
You’re right. I do have a crappy attitude when someone is demonstrably proven wrong (like you were with the Cardinals link/quote I posted the first time) and they still won’t admit it until so much redundant proof is offered to them that they have no choice to finally admit fault.

Having to pull teeth and nails before someone gets to the point of admitting they’re wrong is a massive failing of society at this point, so when I see that, it makes me sad and pisses me off.
