What
Wait, what?
what , why wait! Only sb winning coach I see available - fundamentally sound - knows how to draft and develop a roster - knows what his GD offense is- he could teach NFL head coaching to the other candidates! Just saying truth

Dan Campbell as HC-Seems to be a Parcells protege, tough MF'er no BS'er

Todd Bowles as DC (heck of a coordinator, we;l; regarded in organization))
Nick Sirianni as OC (he is Indy's OC, but Frank Reich has a lot of say in playcalling)

Not sure what Jim Caldwell did that was so poor.

The Cardinals need a coach that can build a team, so I do not think a rookie head coach is going to be a good idea.

A coach like Jim Caldwell, Adam Gase, or even a Marvin Lewis are guys that can make a team competitive. They are certainly not inspiring choices, or fit that "new style NFL offense" mold, but they have had some success in the league.

Sure, a rookie head coach COULD produce great results, but I think it is a boom or bust situation. The Cardinals cannot afford another bust at this moment, in my humble opinion.

You said “Marvin Lewis”

:biglaugh:

You have officially gone off the deep end...

Buckley says to call Mike Leach...the coach, not the long snapper.

That's just what I was thinking. If you are going to reach for the Air Raid, go get the master then.

Tobin will always have a special place in my heart. The 98 playoff win against the Cowboys was a great moment in Cardinal history. I taped the game & still watch it from time to time.

I was there! As you said, one of the best Cardinal experiences I have ever had. Cowboy fans were so cocky walking in.

Super Bowl in Tampa was right there as well. Got a ticket from a Cardinal fan from this board (so appreciative).

What an uninspiring list. Unless the light suddenly comes on with Gase, he is young enough but is he smart enough to learn from his mistakes.

The other 2 would be shades of the safe/boring hire. Thankfully there have be no rumors of Caldwell or Munchak.

He interviewed with us yesterday.
