Eau the irony!

do you not have mirrors in your house?

Show me where I have been a "Bidwillian apologist"?

Your problem is that anyone with an even temperament that isn't on here whining about everything, real or imagined, is some kind of front office apologist. Anyone that isn't putting the worst possible take on everything is in the pocket of the owner.

Y'all are just sad whiners man who look for any excuse. Not everyone, there are plenty here, including people like @DVontel and @kerouac9 who are more patient and level headed, and will wait for something tangible to criticise. But there are plenty that just want to see the worst and have an excuse to moan.

Consider this your warning.

It seems like another big move is coming. Teams are leveraging, waiting for prices to come down. WR in particular. The Bengals are never going to get a 1st. I predict a 2nd for TH.

You're talking about Trey Hendrickson vs. Tee Higgins.

Nothing lucky about reading the room and knowing productive guys would be released. At that point several other teams would have maxed their spending and bargains can be had. That’s experience.
Pre-Free Agency, Free Agency trackers are always much shorter on talent than reality, because teams often have to release a few guys. The Browns made the business decision that Garrett is way more important than Tomlinson and are taking a bit of a gamble at DT, but this is the year to try and get younger and cheaper through the draft.

Where would you have ranked Tomlinson among the pending FA IDL in this class? I'd argue that FA trackers 30 days out are much fuller on talent than reality, because re-signings, extensions, and tags rapidly dry up the market. That's why the "powder-dry hustle" is tempting.

The cut-day free agents are usually pretty well-known but there are sometimes surprises. They definitely can't be engaged with during the tampering period, I believe.

LOL... imagine people whining about a team that in the last TEN YEARS has had ONE winning season, and even that season ended in complete and utter humiliation in the lone playoff game... again... in TEN YEARS.

Oooooh... the horror... but not of the team... the fans who "look" for excuses about the franchise's complete and utter failure for a decade.

There seem to be some premature victory laps being taken in Monti's honor right now. I like the Sweat and Tomlinson signings, but it's not like we just signed Chris Jones and Micah Parsons. Or made any improvements to the interior of the offensive line. Or added speed at receiver. We signed a guy who has averaged a little over 6 sacks per year for his career and a DT who plays 60% of the snaps.

Again, I like the signings, and they should make the team better, but maybe it's not the time to call people out for being disappointed in what is supposed to be a very aggressive offseason for Monti.

I'll grant ya that.
But maybe it's also waaaay too hooking soon to go all chicken little on the GM or the path of the team right now as well
