Kyler Murray Appreciation Thread

Hey, I beat the kid up when he deserves it, so I have to bow down and do a Wayne and Garth "I'm not worthy!" when he absolutely dominates in a game. That was damned near flawless. Even when he missed, like on the MHJ fade, he missed safely. There was absolutely no way the defense was getting to it.

I screamed at him a few times, in the "Throw it away!" and "Tuck the damn ball!" sense, but every time, it was like the game paused, he held a hand up to me on the TV, and said, "Relax, Stout. I got this, bro."

THAT is the QB we need. Right now, if only for tonight, Kyler Murray is a generational talent at QB.

I’m a big Sooner fan so of course I thought this all along. That Kyler has the potential to set the league on fire. I’m hoping that the Gannon/Petzing staff will bring it out of him and he can be consistent.

Really remarkable how he kept plays alive today especially on the 2nd MHjr td and the Higgins 3rd td. He wanted to shut up critics after missing a wide open MHjr last week, and sure did that today.

I still saw plenty of Rams' fans in the stadium. The difference today is they never had any reason to get loud or obnoxious. They were so quiet all game.

Yes they were and it was a nice thing to see. Plus we definitely owed the Rams some payback from prior games.

He has to be offensive player of the week in the NFL, Kyler was so damn impressive. He did it all. So glad to see he throw people open, use his feet to extend plays, deep ball accuracy. He looked like a video game during some plays, hats off to Kyler.

If Murray were to win the MVP Award, I l’ll take home about $5G. About $20G if they win the division, a few playoff games, and the SB. lol

Kyler had a PERFECT 158.3 passer rating today. He’s only the 3rd Cardinal EVER to do it. Jim Hart did it in 1975 against the Jets & Warner did it in 2008 against the Dolphins.

The best play was the Higgins TD. If you watch that again he runs a tightrope where if he takes any other step, or any other route than the ones he took, then he gets tackled. Elite movement.

Okay, I'm not trying to brag but...

Anybody who's watched Murray carefully during his college and pro career could see this coming from a mile away!

The moment he decided to dedicate himself to being a great QB1 while off the field, this result was inevitable!
