The comparison isn't even close, considerably higher TD rate, more yards on fewer attempts and far better rushing stats and way less turnovers. What ridiculous point were you trying to make? "Here's a QB that is worse but if we break up the numbers into a per game size then he's still way worse but it looks closer?"
For clarity on the stat lines being discussed, extrapolated out to a full 17 game season, would be: (I am drawing no conclusions, but figure it'd be easier for others (or maybe just me) to discuss in full season sample size format)

Here are some facts for you. These are Kyler's stats after the GB game in 2021 excluding his horrid playoff game. I use this because it is a clear line of demarcation in his QB play.

29 games played.
9-20 record. .310 win %
657/991 66.29 completion %.
6455 yards. 225.65 yards per game.
37 TDs. 16 INTs.
166 rush attempts for 1102 yards. 38 yards per game.
8 rush TDs. 22 fumbles. (not fumbles lost) .75 fumbles per game.

Essentially this Kyler's average game log.

22.65 completions
34.17 attempts
66.29% completion %.
225.65 yards
1.27 passing TDs.
0.55 interceptions

5.72 rush attempts
38 yards rushing
0.27 rushing TDs
0.75 fumbles
Have to admit that you're confusing me. Which stats are Geno's?

I didn't know this would be so confusing to some. Here are the points.

1 - When discussing Kyler Murray as a player, you have to break his career into two different eras. His early career from Game 1 to Game 40 (the Green Bay game in 2021) and game 41 to game 69. The first period of his career had an ascending trajectory while the second period has a descending one.

2 - The current Kyler Murray is the game 41 to current version and that version has produced stats on a per game level closer to Daniel Jones per game numbers so far this year. That is the quality of player in terms of stats, that he has been over his past 29 games.

In comparing both Geno and Kyler since 2022 (when Geno became a starter) their stats are not comparable. Geno has been a far better QB.

Kyler's per game stats after the GB game to current have been more comparable to Daniel Jones per game stats this year.

Well, as many have stated, he’s our starter for a while still. Beyond that, strictly backup material. And while I believe he will be better this week than last, Purdy will clearly outplay him today (yes, I know, Purdy has a ton better talent surrounding him, but he makes also makes *way* better decisions).

I know the coaching staff wants to get him comfortable with the shorter stuff in the pocket but the offense is just so much better when Kyler’s moving around with tempo and we are just letting it fly.

There’ll be some turnovers but the upside is worth it.
