You seen Zay Flowers this year? He was expected to breakout this year and is looking better than any WR we have on this roster.Who’s Lamar Jackson’s number 1?

The one with multiple playoff victories and a Super Bowl appearance. Just a guess.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media

He’s an okay number 1, on pace for 1100 yards and 3 TDs. Hardly a superstar 1 that apparently all great QBs need.
And that’s the PEAK of good WRs that Lamar has had. He’s been a superstar MVP level player most of his career with nothing more than a great TE, his own wheels and middling talent at best for WRs. Last two seasons, Kyler’s got a great TE, his own wheels and until Harrison went out in the last game, the same middling level of WRs Lamar’s had to deal with most of his career. He just comes nowhere close to making the same impact on the offense.
Kurt Warner is without question the best QB we ever had. Then there are a bunch of guys like Palmer and Lomax who you could argue are in the top 5.The one with multiple playoff victories and a Super Bowl appearance. Just a guess.
Uh, Warner. Definitely Warner. By a country mile.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
Have you watched the kid the last few games? I’m guessing not by your comments here. He’s on his way to being a star. If you do watch him and don’t see that, then well I’d have to question your football evaluations. He’s an okay number 1, on pace for 1100 yards and 3 TDs. Tell me of this “better WR crew than the stats would say because if the scheme they run” some more. Flowers has emerged over two whopping games. No one else has done much of anything. Hollywood brown was worse elsewhere.Have you watched the kid the last few games? I’m guessing not by your comments here. He’s on his way to being a star. I’ve stated it before - up until this year you could have given Lamar, prime Devante Adams and he wouldn’t have been the WR stat wise that he’s accustom to. The Ravens (as I noted in the past through articles with several Ravens coaching comments), designed an offense around Lamar’s strengths and the throws that HE can make. Hence why a plodding Mark Andrew’s was successful with him as Lamar was throwing to “spots” not leading WR’s through timing routes. This has worked BEAUTIFUL for him as Lamar is a threat to run on EVERY play in how they utilize him. It cause the defense to hesitate, it causes the defense to commit to him and come up towards the line of scrimmage as plays are rolled out and extended. This makes those “spots” open. This also allows Lamar to throw a number of easy lob passes we have seen over the years as the defense commits to him. It’s the perfect offense for the 2x MVP. The style of offense is a direct result of his completion percentage making such a large jump from year 1.
With that said, what I have seen Lamar do as a passer the last few games..is increased versatility as development as a passer. Let’s see if he can keep it up and string into the playoffs where defenses always seem to figure him out. 2020 playoffs Titans basically played a wall of 4 linebackers at the first down marker, hardly rushed him… dared him to throw the ball all game. Guy couldn’t throw, thus they scored 13 points and lost.
Lamar has all the help in the world through his offensive scheme, offensive line, RBs, a better TE historically and a better WR crew than the stats would say because of the scheme they run. Remember he was drafted to a playoff ready team coming off of a 9-7 record.
If you want to fool yourself to bash Kyler, go for it but above is the reality of the situation.

0%… and way to twist this into debate regarding that lol!Tell me of this “better WR crew than the stats would say because if the scheme they run” some more. Flowers has emerged over two whopping games. No one else has done much of anything. Hollywood brown was worse elsewhere.

Aw man, I love Kevin Clark. Shame we have to cancel him for bringing up the high school career of Kyler Murray -- a 27-year-old man.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media

You really love Kevin Clark? I feel like he’s from the same asshat-bucket along with Steven Ruiz.Aw man, I love Kevin Clark. Shame we have to cancel him for bringing up the high school career of Kyler Murray -- a 27-year-old man.

You’re right.. it has nothing to do with the offensive scheme they run, the top tier offensive line they have, the consistently top defensive they have and list of selections of top 3 round receiving weapons that didn’t excel stat wise in a run first, TE heavy offense.Lamar had already won TWO MVPS without Henry and Flowers blossoming into a superstar WR… because he’s had two good back to back games.
And you say he took over a 9-7 team… but you’re kinda leaving out the crucial detail that during the season Lamar took over, that team was a floundering 4-5 and he went 6-1… as a rookie… with practically nothing around him but Mark Andrews. Then kept winning, division titles, MVPs, with running back cast-off and backups. Why? Because he lifts the entire offense on his back. Or do you also think it was a coincidence that the Ravens totally fell apart and went 1-4 after he went out for the year in 2021 and missed the playoffs.
The reality is Lamar has always lifted the Ravens offense above where it would otherwise be with very little weapons until this season. He’s the prime example that you don’t need a number 1 to be successful. Trying to argue otherwise is an exercise in futility.
(Note I haven’t said a word about Kyler in this post so don’t ban me please! This is an argument about what great QBs need to be successful).

Is not surprising Isaiah Likely was looking good in the mark Andrew’s
Role. Heck in fantasy over the years, you knew anytime MA was out to pick of the back end as a solid streaming play bc Lamar wasn’t going to elevate the WR’s stats.
Keep the bias views up here, your brother certainly needs help defending the lack of support for this debate.
Everytime nearly 90% of the leagues starting QBs are out there is a massive drop off in production lol. Man these takes are really bad.. like toddler style badAnd yet every time Lamar is out, despite the “top tier” offensive line and top 3 round receiving weapons that offense SUCKS and the entire team completely goes in the tank.
He’s the straw that stirs the drink. Anyone who can’t see that isn’t paying attention .
Yes… it was Lamar’s fault his WRs, who have gone on to do nothing anywhere else, was the problem… while he was winning multiple MVPs. Again, he didn’t need great WRs to be great on the field.
The idea that it’s bias to say Lamar has been a great QB without great talent while winning multiple MVPs is quite a take.
You'd like to think that.Whichever one paid them more.
