Suns letting the Trail Blazers hang around is not a good idea.

Dunn is a difference maker. He's a huge presence on d that helps inspire others to try harder also. The way he always seems to be disruptive is nuts though. I haven't seen a wing that capable of causing disruptions in a good while.

Glad to see him moving on offense without the ball also. He's a better shooter than he was in college but he's not consistent enough to camp behind the line like Grayson.

Said it before, I like Monte Morris more than Tyus Jones. I'd really like to see him with the starters more. He brings more ferocity on both sides, especially on defense.

I don't dislike Tyus, to be clear. I believe Monte might be the better starter though and deserving of more minutes based on what I've seen so far.

Monte has been more of a surprise, I didn't expect as much. Ive been on the Tyus train for years.

The way I see it, Monte is more of a game on the line type player. However, I think Tyus is the more skilled.

Watch some old games, they weren't better. We didn't have the camera angles to see things like we do now in the clarity we do. In the old days though they'd generally err on the side of not calling something than calling it, which is done now in the name of player safety.

It's not better or worse, different, but the same missed calls were missed then. It's like a seesaw, it's never been good or flat. It always swings far to one side or the other, too involved or not enough.

I say that because I would be adamant a guy called a play wrong. Then the replay would show the referee got it right. There was less of them, and they made decisive calls. Now all three act like they didn't see it, talk about it for two minutes, then the guy the furthest from the action overrides everyone, sometimes including the crew chief, and still get it wrong, as evidenced when there is a challenge. Plus when they do review it, it takes so long sometimes, you almost wish they didn't call anything.

I understand the complaint, for sure. Ive watched a lot of classic games in the last couple months though and have been surprised by how bad the fouls were. I'm talking late 80's through the mid 90's though. I was a little surprised because there was less fouls called for the most part but a lot that should have been called weren't. Maybe my lens is skewed from today's game though.

I like them happy as well but I also think it's important they remain cognizant of their surroundings. Beal looked toasted. He's not playing so I can't fault whatever pain management regimen he's on.

We all know @mjb21aztd needs his pain management to handle being an AZ sports fan.

I didn't even connect the dots until now that Leander called the game now that I see the post game show. I thought it seemed different but couldn't put my finger on it. A different commentator would do it.

Sophie needs to be on the games more. She's knocked it out of the park in any role I've seen or heard her regarding Suns coverage. More Sophie would be appreciated.

Anesthesiologists are in patient, pain management is out patient. That's how I've understood it. I'm not a doctor and I don't play one on TV.

We all need numbed occasionally, some more than others but Suns fans more than most.

Well you are in the period when the bad boys ball was in vogue. They let them maul each other. That's why I said seventies, early eighties. Those Lakers/Celtics games were legendary, and they were fairly well called overall. When Detroit started the bad boy thing, that's when I feel the refs started going downhill. They have gotten really bad this past decade.
