Only someone who said he hates the Lakers, but constantly put them and their players on a pedestal and gets very upset when someone disagrees and then gets help from his Laker buddies, who are on his friends list, would have to do that.
That would be cool. I like Nash and we need all the help we can to keep the 1st seed. Duncan was not 100% healthy in the last game and Manu and Parker also have some health problems.
You said before that you hate the Lakers. Would you please expand on that a little? Which player do you hate the most? Kobe, Odom, or maybe Bynum? And if you just hate Laker fans, why do you have them in your friends list?
I heard you missed me :) Tough time for the Spurs. We haven't given up but is tougher now when we are just two games better than the Fakers. What a terrible season, we are only two games ahead of a scrub team like the Fakers.
BTW I also heard that back in 1985 Malik Rose accidentaly sneezed on a poodle. The poodle didn't notice anything but the old woman who owned it thought it was very funny.
As an outsider it's obvious that Gortat is your best center and should start. RoLo might be good enough to be a backup C or he might not quite make it.
Good posts sunsfan88. I wish you guys the best and kept hoping you would make it to the POs even though I would not be sure the Spurs would beat you there. Now it does not look like it will happen. I really wished for you to beat the Fakers of course. Looking at the schedule I see that we will...
I have a great respect for Dirk. He is great and in my opinion he should be the MVP this season, but Bowen was a 3 and it's no surprise he had problems defending Dirk. In fact it is telling that he was assigned that task being so much shorter. Bowen was just one of the best defensive players...
So you hate the Spurs too, it's all fine with me. How about answering my question and not some other imaginary question? Why would Stern want the Spurs to win the west instead of the Lakers? What would the nba gain from that exactly?
I get it, you really hate the Spurs beacuse of our PO-history. That's fine with me and I respect your opinion but would you please explain why Stern would prefer that the Spurs win the west and not the Lakers? (A boring old team with low tv-ratings or a big-market team with high tv-ratings)...
Good post. I agree with most of this (and a bit of smack talk is fine with me). From a Spurs perspective I'm more worried about Portland than OKC or Denver (eventhough we just lost a game to them) because Aldridge is a terrible match-up for our bigs. In my humble opinion there are many really...
What happened to the coach, did he survive?
This league has turned into a place for soft ballerinas pretending to be "bad" by getting some tats and/or releasing a rap album while complaining if someone actually plays tough D against them. I miss the good old days when this was a sport for men.
So now you are just back pedaling. I want my 100000 dollars :p You said the Spurs have NO chance, not 10% or 20% or whatever. It seems you wised up and changed your mind?
