    My experience with "Eagle fan"

Possibly. But if Arizona is back in the NFC East then we're both looking upward at the Giants destroying the division and having to get into the playoffs solely on W/L record. All those lost divisional games were mighty close. Four losses by a combined total of 22 points. In fact, outside of...

    My experience with "Eagle fan"

We can't all play in the NFC West and get the division leader tiebreaker for home game determination, right? It did take under 7 minutes to sell every single-game seat for the full season of home games for the last 7-8 years running. Not that anyone is being snippy on this thread, of course.

    My experience with "Eagle fan"

Hey, I can't imagine there are many 355lb athletes that in any better shape. That's a ton of weight to haul around. And most of these linemen would give us a run for our money in a 10-20yd dash.

So whos starting at Tight End?

Patrick is still listed as limited participation over Wed and Thurs.

The injury link was just updated. Lots of Eagles moved to Full Participation and the Cards punter has a groin injury.

    Cards-Eagles Injury Update (Thursday 1/15)

He's been improving. I still don't think he has much lateral mobility as he usually does when healthy. He can run vertical just fine. Hopefully not practicing will allow him to heal up his knee and ankle a bit more. There is still talk about draining his knee if the Eagles win this weekend -...

    LaBoy, MIA.

Careful. They've won the last two weeks without him making much of an impact on the stat line. He's surprisingly valuable when he's eating up a spy on defense while sticking in for a blitz pickup on someone else. The Eagles do so much with Westbrook. It isn't all obvious stuff. They run a...

Eagles plan heavy coverage for Fitzgerald

Ah, that makes more sense. Standard return man stuff.

I've been hearing that a lot as well.

Eagles plan heavy coverage for Fitzgerald

Don't hold your breath. The more talented the WR is, the bigger the cushion he gets from the Eagles CB. No idea why and it drives me crazy to see them give up 8-yard passes like that. Fitz will probably earn a 12 yard cushion.

Eagles plan heavy coverage for Fitzgerald

I'm going to be embarrassingly honest, here. JJ Arrington is stick active on a NFL squad? Then I looked up his stats. It looks like he was involved in Weeks 9 and 11 but has barely touched the ball since then. Is he on the field much at all these days?

Eagles plan heavy coverage for Fitzgerald

I will say I'm surprised that Fitz has been 37% of your offense in the playoffs. And I thought Westbrook's numbers were high. That's huge for any WR.

Eagles plan heavy coverage for Fitzgerald

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/11260320 Not sure on your forum policy for posting the entire article alongside the link so I'll err on the side of caution. Interesting piece. I'll just get the expected first reply out of the way and say that "this means less coverage on Q." Comments?

    Crowd control

Maybe for some longterm fans, sure. You sound like you have more personal investment in it. But for the most part we hate the current NFC East with a passion, followed by some of the NFC powerhouses. The NFC West doesn't come into discussion too much. The Cards had a solid year so far but...

Saying it RIGHT NOW!! Boldin to EXPLODE!

http://www.philadelphiaeagles.com/news/injuryreport.html Mikell might have left for a series but I think he's ok. Lots more Eagles on that injury report so far, but I'm hopeful that all of it is precautionary. Runyan and Westbrook really don't need to practice at this point - might as well...

    Crowd control

I don't see a very large chance of fights breaking out. Eagle fans will show up, for certain. But they also booked flights, hotels, and scalped tickets. Not a cheap outing. There is no Arizona rivalry here from this Philly fan. I can name ten teams that would get more flack. If you have...

Saying it RIGHT NOW!! Boldin to EXPLODE!

Getting this thread back on track, I think I'm as concerned with your secondary as I am with Fitz. You have some underrated talent there for sure. Rod Hood has seen enough of McNabb over the years to help point out a few things to the secondary and McNabb is going to have to be very careful...

    The truth about the Eagles

We'll have to see how this one turns out. Grant me this, at least: Real Fans know to shut up when the home offense is on the field. Casual fans, if yelling at all, scream the entire game. Not that it will make a difference in this one.

Saying it RIGHT NOW!! Boldin to EXPLODE!

From what I've skimmed over there I have no doubts that you are correct. The best part is that they're starting threads for Eagles/Cards fan discussions. For what - commentary from the two Eagles fans that got registered before the lockdown? Lots of insight there, I'm sure.

    The truth about the Eagles

I'll disagree right off the bat. Surely you have a few friends who like sports. Surely some of them yell a LOT louder than others. Real Fans tend to yell louder than casual fans by their very nature. No doubt you had a dome almost entirely full of Real Fans last week. The fact that tickets...

    The truth about the Eagles

To be fair, Warner did that with BOTH a squad of high end WRs and the best RB in the league at the time. Neither the Eagles nor the Cards can claim both abilities. Warner stepped into a dream situation back then. You've got the WR core, a decent young RB, a declining RBand a line that needs...

Saying it RIGHT NOW!! Boldin to EXPLODE!

Thanks. It's fun to go back and forth with opposing fans in a manner that doesn't devolve into a "WILL NOT! WILL TO!" chatter. I like the hear the ins and outs of a team from the people who actually watch them every week. You guys know your stuff from my limited time here. You should be...

Saying it RIGHT NOW!! Boldin to EXPLODE!

Same with the Eagles. Very few dual TE sets. There was a time when for a few weeks a lot of teams had great success and I wanted to see Philly run more dual TE sets, but with the current LJ Smith that desire has long passed. The Eagles have pinned TE hopes on Celek and so far the guy has...
