    I'm not "extrapolating" anything. I simply don't think the measurement of a head coach should be based on their record against a single team--which seems to be the crux of your argument as well when you talk about sample size, so I'm not sure why you take such exception to my post). And, BTW...

    So Grimm was only half the problem. And then it was compounded by drafting Levi to replace him. What has Grimm done RIGHT in your estimation? Or, is he just a cipher that gets a pass in your book because you're not an OL coach and as such ill-equipped to form an opinion?

    Because Grimm--presumably the final voice in all things OL related, given that he's the OL and assistant HC--can't identify talent (which might be okay if he could coach a line to be better than the sum of its parts).

    IMO, a good offensive line coach would have put him at G and coached him up to the point where he would have been indispensable. He had all the talent in the world. Davis is an example of talent not being coached/utilized.

    I think what Gee is talking about is different from the neck roll collar things. There are some shiny scribbles in the from of the neck on most (all?) of the jerseys--separate from the collar that goes around the back of the neck. (there! I read it!)

    I don't like those scribbles, either, but what I like even less is the white "collar" on some of the teams (Buffalo and Denver come to mind). It looks like they painted on a neck roll like LBs and FBs from the 80's used to wear. It's annoying as hell.
