What if these all were on the Board at 7

Plain and simple if we take Geno and he turns out to be a bust... well then were gonna be in an even DEEPER hole than we were before. Warmack is by far the safest pick at #7 and will vastly improve our anemic run game. Better run game = better passing game. You realize that, don't you...

What if these all were on the Board at 7

I would have to say a smaller gap between Jones and our current LBs compared to Warmack vs. Colledge. At least they can do their job. Watching our current OL is painful and a major upgrade is needed. Sure Colledge was probably the best OG we had last year, but that isn't saying much. Not to...

    Bigger gap, Fisher---Levi/Potter or Warmack---Colledge/Snyder?

Long, no. Albert, possibly. There's also Beatty, Baker, and a few others that are also possible. The Cardinals FO can easily make room for one them.

What if these all were on the Board at 7

As much as I'd love to pick up a pass rusher like Jones... there's no way we can pass up Warmack considering how horrible our OL has been. Jarvis Jones is a luxury pick and unfortunately we don't have that privilege this year. Warmack is no scrub either. Major need + beast on the OL. :newcards:

    Bigger gap, Fisher---Levi/Potter or Warmack---Colledge/Snyder?

I'm sure we can make room for a FA LT. Remember Levi is a liability in pass protection and would be better suited as an RT or possibly OG. I chose Snyder over Sendlein solely based on his contract. It will be very unlikely we cut him. Same goes for Colledge.

    Bigger gap, Fisher---Levi/Potter or Warmack---Colledge/Snyder?

F.A. (LT) Warmack (LG) Snyder (C) Brown (RG) Massie (RT) now that just looks nasty (especially if we replaced Snyder with Jones) :newcards:

    MadCards Mock Draft v2.0

I can dig it.... although I'd like to see Tyrann Mathieu somewhere between 5-7

    Kiper's take on Cards

Fisher prior to Lewan and Matthews opting out = Late 20's. Now all of a sudden he's a top 10 pick? No thanks.

    Bigger gap, Fisher---Levi/Potter or Warmack---Colledge/Snyder?

Well at least we would have plenty of depth at OG

To QB Or Not To QB

    Agreed :thewave:

    Bigger gap, Fisher---Levi/Potter or Warmack---Colledge/Snyder?

Not to mention, releasing one of our extremely overpaid guards will open up some cap space

    Bigger gap, Fisher---Levi/Potter or Warmack---Colledge/Snyder?

Warmack. There's a whole slew of proven LTs to pick up in FA

    Shaun Phillips to Cards??

I wouldn't mind picking him up... after we go get an LT of course

For posterity: What will Kevin Kolb's role be in 2013?

Only way he stays is with a restructured contract... which I can see happening.

    Can I Just Ask...

Very true. All I know is that our defense is legit and can wait for a pass rusher.... for now

    Jacksonville Jaguars New Logo

Feminine.. but still better than their old logo. I think it's the teal eyes.

    Flacco looks to be expensive

If only we had that kind of money!!! :bang:

    Can I Just Ask...

I'm pretty sure the 49ers picked up their elite pass rusher AFTER they solidified the O-line. Lets beef up our O-line first (which we can easily fix this offseason), then we can think about a pass rusher the following years. This is the new NFL; if you can't score you can't win.

Vikings | Will try to trade Harvin

Our WR core is solid!!!! The only FA I want to see is a LT. Pick up Warmack in the first round. Instant o-line upgrade.

Another Wild Mock with me as Card's GM

We shall see! I'll still support whoever it is they choose to be our QBoF. :koolaid: :newcards:

Another Wild Mock with me as Card's GM

Arm strength can be developed though. Drew Brees had what was considered a "weak arm" coming out of college. Not so weak now is it? To me, size and arm strength means very little compared to other traits. Besides, Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd aren't much of a "deep threat" to begin with...

Another Wild Mock with me as Card's GM

Glennon reminds me too much of Skelton. Big arm but has accuracy and decision making issues. Just because he can throw it deep, doesn't mean he'll be able to place where it needs to go. Barkley has shown his potential throughout his entire career at USC. Yes he had a disappointing 2012...
