    don't think any team was touching him (not one he would really go to at least) for more than 5-6 a year. even at 9 mil it would have been overpaying but would at least be better.

    no good team would have gave him 22 mil... a team like jacksonville yes but he would have never gone to a team like that... he wants to win and get paid.. hence take more than enough from us ... and only a 2 year deal so he can chase a ring if it doesn't work out.
