    Suns @ Spurs 1-29-19

    First team foul! hahaha!

Will Suns make a move before the trade deadline?

Honestly, I don't see much difference between picking 4th and picking 7th this year. Of course, that can change, but anything short of a top 3 (maybe 2) pick is probably going to feel like a big loss. Williamson is the hope and prayer for any tanking team. I'm really high on Morant. Barrett...

Will Suns make a move before the trade deadline?

I mean...7% is a legitimate chance. It's exactly half as likely as getting the #1 overall pick if the Suns are in 3rd place.

Will Suns make a move before the trade deadline?

What's even more amazing is that the Cavs and Bulls have a worse point differential than we do. As someone who has watched a lot of the Suns this season, it's hard to fathom that's even possible!

Will Suns make a move before the trade deadline?

There is a 7% chance of falling from 3 to 7. The top 3 teams have equal odds of getting the top pick, but the team with the worst record can fall no further than 5 while the third worst record has a 7% chance of going to 7. http://www.tankathon.com/pick_odds

Will Suns make a move before the trade deadline?

In the old system the worst team could fall no further than the 4 spot. The 3 top spots were drawn, and then it went by record. Now, the top 4 are drawn and then they go by record. The percentages have all changed too to even the odds out a bit.

Will Suns make a move before the trade deadline?

It was not. One of the changes with the new system is the top 4 spots are now drawn. https://www.sbnation.com/nba/2018/5/15/17348204/nba-draft-lottery-format-rules-odds-explained

Will Suns make a move before the trade deadline?

Jrue is a much better fit (at least in theory) than Russell, but Russell is starting to become a star (which means he's probably not leaving Brooklyn). Lonzo is also a better fit than Russell, but he comes with some serious concerns as well. All three are much, much better options than what we...

Will Suns make a move before the trade deadline?

If the Suns pick after the top 3, I think they'd be smart to trade that pick for value. My concern with Russell is that he and Booker would both be ball-dominant guards who are not known for their defense and would command a large percentage of the cap. However, their upside and friendship make...

Will Suns make a move before the trade deadline?

I don't think Russell gets traded, but he is a RFA this summer and will command a big contract. The Nets will have Russell, Dinwiddie, and Caris LeVert...that may be too many cooks in the kitchen. (Don't forget that before Dinwiddie and Russell started to break out, it was LeVert who looked...

Will Suns make a move before the trade deadline?

I would be very happy with Holiday or Russell and could definitely talk myself into Lonzo. I want nothing to do with Scary Terry at this point.

The 2018-2019 Around the NBA thread

The Kyrie-LeBron make-up tour happened right before Rich Paul announced AD wants out. I would not be shocked to see that trio in Lakerland next year.

Poll - Igor Kokoskov's Future With the Suns

Holmes isn't a hopeless case as an outside shooter either. He actually shot 1.4 threes a game in his second year in the league and hit 35%. I'm not saying it's a strength, but you'd think the Suns would at least see what they had in playing him with Ayton. What's the harm? We start going on...

The 2018-2019 Around the NBA thread

Yeah. I don't think the Suns could get Davis with a package that doesn't start with Booker or Ayton, and then there is no reason the Suns are more desirable for AD than the Pelicans. He's 100% not coming to the Suns. Holiday, on the other hand, is a potentially wonderful fit with Booker...as...

The 2018-2019 Around the NBA thread

Maybe...I think they could definitely play Ball and Holiday together. Holiday is a hybrid right now and often plays the 2 with Payton (somewhat stylistically similar to Lonzo) at the 1. The bigger thing I would focus on (in regards to Holiday being available) is whether the package New Orleans...

The 2018-2019 Around the NBA thread

If they make a trade for a package that includes win-now guys, I think Holiday will be an unlikely target. If they're looking for young guys... Warren, Jackson, and Bender matches salary-wise. Throw in the Bucks pick and our pick with protections. It's a lot, but it's all assets that don't fit...

I'm not sure either, but he's my favorite fit of all the point guards the Suns could potentially have a chance to bring in, and check this out from the Pelicans beat writer:

The 2018-2019 Around the NBA thread

I can't imagine the Suns are in the running for Davis whatsoever...but I still feel like Holiday is an ideal target should the Pelicans decide to do a true rebuild.

Poll - Igor Kokoskov's Future With the Suns

The Suns are 52 games into the season. They've already had a 6-game losing streak, a separate 7-game losing streak, AND a 10-game losing streak. They're currently on an 8-game losing streak. That's absolutely ridiculous.

    Timberwolves @ Suns 1-22-19

Yeah. Nothing was ever going to happen other than both of them looking stupid.
  22. ColdPickleNachos

    TJ Warren

The Pelicans or Grizzlies maybe? They are really lacking in wings that can bring a scoring punch.
