    Bell and Diaw Memorial Page

I will always like raja as a player. he played tough, he gave his all, and he did a lot of dirty work for us. His contributions didn't always show up in the box score, but he was huge through all of our successes and few of our failures. Sad to see him go, I'll always miss having him on a team I...

Bucks at Suns 7PM FSN AZ

I'm so glad you read my entire post, including the part where I said I am an N.B.A player and can drop 35 in a game. Nice going! I am also not 7'2 and 300+ lbs. Besides, the whole point of my post was to point out that shaq hasn't dropped 35 on any teams that are any good, which is when we...

Can Memphis Make Two Dumb trades in a row?

mayo isn't going anywhere anytime soon. the guy has proven already to be a stud, having put up back to back 30 point games already this year. in perspective, not even kobe has done that this year. The grizzlies would be fools to get rid of him now

    Our "Bigs" are Shrinky Dinks

i don't know if you mean me or not. But if so, i don't think i exaggerated singletary at all. I know he isn't the next paul or anything. i just think he is better than Dragic and should play more. The worst that could happen by playing him more is we find out we don't have a good backup point...

Hypothetical.... if Amare had to be traded...

the portland trade isn't all that bad, actually. we get a legit big man for a legit big man, which is something you have to get back when losing a guy like amare. if oden turns out the be the defensive specialist they hope he will, he and amare could make a very dangerous front court tandom. I...

    Our "Bigs" are Shrinky Dinks

disagree. Dragic looked like total trash against dallas. When he tries to be aggressive, he just misses the shots he takes. At least singletary doesn't do any harm when he's out there. Dragic has been doing more harm than good, IMO.

somehow that doesn't surprise me. notice that the top two players are both learning a new system of offense

    Say goodbye to Amare

the team isn't going to win anything this year, so I wouldn't mind seeing Nash or Amare go as long as we get some good value back. I agree that you can't give up a legit nba big without either getting one back or getting a high enough pick to draft one. I can't think of any realistic trades...

    Our "Bigs" are Shrinky Dinks

in hindsight, I think we missed out on Batum when we took Lopez. Anyway i agree that amare needs to focus on the not flashy parts of the game (rebounding, defense) before people will really recognize him as one of the league's greats. 4 rebounds against the hornets is pathetic, especially when...

good thing your boy shaq is keeping those mavs off the boards and dominating them inside. :sarcasm:

    Back to Plan A?

possibly shopping amare? i would probably be surprised by that. it's just too early to do that. Also, he's going to be a free agent after next year anyway so i don't know who would want to rent him for less than two years

    OT:My New GIF

when the ball leaves his hand it is already on its way down, so it is a goaltend no matter what. the ball is also in the cylinder at that point

    Two Changes Needed

shaq is still dominant, he can get 30/20 on ANY GIVEN NIGHT! give him the ball and we will win games. he is still better than Kobe. Damn it Andrew, stop stealing my password!

If any logical thought has come out of a conversation with Andrew since his birth, this post would be it. Well said.

    Suns vs Lakers Nov.20

By your logic, we also can't say for sure that tomorrow is November 21st, 2008. I'm about as sure of that as I am about Kobe winning more rings than shaq assuming no career-ending injuries take place. When you're mixing up words like "accept" and "except", I can only assume it's because you...

    Suns vs Lakers Nov.20

exactly right. i would bet my money on Kobe winning one ring or more by the time he retires (likely in 5-7 years) any day of the week. Twice on Sunday, for that matter. The lakers and Celtics look to be the two best teams this year in the regular season, and i have to like the lakers in a...

    Suns vs Lakers Nov.20

Winner of gramatical post of the year, everyone. Without Shaq, Kobe wouldn't have the rings he does. Without Kobe and Wade, Shaq wouldn't have the ones he does. No championship has ever been won by one player alone, and no N.B.A championship will ever be won in that way. I think it's pretty...

NBA starters at SG and Raja Bell

for a better comparison i would compare our starting back-court to others in the league. Most good teams have a star player of some sort at one of the guard positions and a complimentary player at the other spot. Some teams (like new jersey) have star players at both spots, and some teams (like...

    What's ailing Dallas?

they were better off before trading for Kidd. With Harris they had a bright young guard to start with. Now they have an overpaid former superstar who doesn't produce nearly as much as Harris. Trading Dirk at this point would be a little premature IMO, but it may be something they consider pretty...

    jerry stackhouse wants out...

why wouldn't he get more minutes in New Orleans? they don't have anything off the bench other than posey. Stack could easily be their primary scorer of the bench.
