    My two cents says we need too many upgrades on D to put our eggs in the first round round QB basket gamble. A change to a 4/3 and new D coordinator along with a 1st round DT would seem a better tack. THere wont be many if any long term high dollar deals next year if the labor issues dont settle...

    Deuce is actually a step ahead of everyone. He knew there would be outside competion on the OL and he saw that we were weak at ILB and knew we may go to a 4-3. So he wisely has postioned himself as a run stuffing 400 lb DT.

    My guess is that his decision will be delayed. Any negotiator knows that you dont make any decision until you absolutely have too. He shouldn't have to do anything until a week prior to the first minicamp. There will be plenty of cap dollars to use with several iminent departures for his salary...

    When you look at it from a perspective of position rather than individual we are DEEP at W/O and have big needs elswhere such as DB and LB. I believe we will spend the money to improve the team as a whole which means Mr. Boldin may well be traded.
