    I disagree. McNabb prefers to retire an Eagle first and foremost. He has been quoted as saying as much. I think if he IS traded, he may prefer Arizona, but he wants an extension and to stay in Philly with every interview I have seen.

    People are concerned about his speed because he lacks quickness and doesn't have BLAZING speed. He's a straight-line runner. Again, he seems to have the type of speed that works in college, but won't work in the NFL where everyone is as fast as the fastest defender they saw on any given week.

    Why should the team have to rush into a decision? If the guy is a marquee free agent, sure, but at this point we are to role players. I think they want to see what talent they already have in place at OLB before an offer. And since he had no other visits, I say why panic.

    And once the free agency thing slows down I expect multiple players to begin negotiating extentions to use up much of that "cap space". Dockett, Breaston, Lutui, DRC, maybe Leinart all need to be revisited in the next couple years. Having cap space now makes sense.
