    I do think it is odd how we often throw in an additional pick. Wasn't the Bryant Johnson / Calvin Pace trade the same? We gave up like the 9th pick and our 4th rounder to get the 18th and 19th? Why can't we ever keep that stupid pick?!?!?!

    We don't exactly sit in a position of strength. I would have been beside myself for a second, and hide the vodka is another later rounder appeared. But this seems to be about where I was estimating. Although I thought the late rounder would be this years.

    Oh believe none of it. But there are certain "insiders" you just learn to trust more than others. The problem with this 'frenzy' is that it may be from a 4th to a 3rd round pick, not 2nd to a 1st round pick. Where I have come to trust the front office in vet minimum/ near minimum signings...

    He showed the same problems with Carolina and New york, even with better blockers. The guy is shell shocked and will never be much in the NFL. Below average backup IMHO. I live in Fresno and this isn't the same guy the Texans drafted #1.

    I think if both players made noise going into the last year of their contract, or even two years before, the majority of those upset at both players would have been fine with it IMHO. In fact this very year on Rolle's contract is to entice both parties to this point

    The difference is Rolle is in his last year - after both sides honored the contract. Dockett and Q were making noise after 2 years with 3-4 years each left on their contract. I don't see anything hypocritical about it. If either Q or DD complained during the offseason before their last contract...
