    Did anyone notice on the 3rd and 3 situation, Fitz ran about 3 yds down then cut right and angled TOWARD the QB thus moving himself SHORT of the 1st down line ?

    Something else to consider re the 49'ers drafting is that during the years before Harbaugh they were usually drafting in the top 10 ! Plus, as I recall, Staley was their 2nd pick in the 1st round.

    I'm thinking we'll go with BPA. This strategy seems to be working for us so far. In the 2nd and subsequent rounds we'll address our perceived needs based on the 2012 season performances.

    DJ, Skelton like Kolb didn't have the off season to work. I'm really looking forward to seeing both Kolb AND Skelton next year. I think we should be in pretty good shape with these guys.

    JS did OK vs Denver and will probably do OK with Carolina. What I'm waiting for is Dallas. By tyen he'll have two games under his belt and this will be a "real" test. I can't wait and really hope he is successful.

    I've been looking on several Draft Boards and we are listed on some as having the 23rd choice and on others we have the 27th choice. I thought draft order was based on your season ending won/loss record, unless you were in the Super Bowl then you draft 31st or 32nd based on winning or losing...

    Mitch, great writeup, thanks. I thought your observation on the relationship between Warner and Q very interesting. I wonder if his (Warner) concern for Q's health isn't effecting his performance ?
