PFF's mixing up Atlanta's list of a gazillion UDFA's with Arizona's list of 3 or 4 had to give teams cause to doublecheck.
True - PFF relied on an outside source for its lists, but it still had to be embarrassing.
Replace Kenyan Drake with Conner and you have last years' RBs with Connor sitting in Drake's chair.
From what I've read, Connor is less twitchy but more of a bruiser compared to Drake.
Other than that, this year should be the same as last year at RB.
"Awesome?" run game?
I don't think that's part of Kingsbury's offensive concept or culture.
The run as a threat?
I think that's what Kingsbury may be shooting for.
I also think that all it might take is a slight shift toward making the run scary enough to keep the offense honest.
Depends on...
Usually most unofficial signings are announced by the end of Draft Sunday.
This year, we were advised that Pandemic procedures could result in a lower number of UDFA signings.
Looks like it's so..
Depending on whom you believe (& barring late breaking news) the Cards have inked 3 - 4 UDFA's...
Pattern emerges - with few exceptions just about every prospect has at least one elite measurable - a 4.39 or better forty, a 42.5 VJ or a sick press or 3-cone.
If a player fails to make the squad, it won't be due to subpar athletic talent.
Wilson outperforms Newsome across the board in agility drills.
If SK feels that Wilson's shortcomings were overplayed, extenuating or coached out of him, Mario should be his logical choice.
The Pookster is pretty good.
Actually - I have an All Names page on the BRS. There is a surprisingly high number of players on this page who were drafted by the Cards.
Best Name on list: "Divine Diablo."
Could someone straighten out the trades?
We weren't supposed to have a pick till #160 and Wilson at 136 appears from the Ravens.
For what?
And what movement took place in the 6th round? TSN still has us picking #223 in the 6thalong with #243 and 247 in the 7th.
Help!
