    im going to say it.

Dan Williams, RB... Imagine a CB trying to take him on on a sweep around the right side.

    Michael Floyd making the Leap?

I think almost all first round picks need to get better fundamentally. People seem to really dig deep to find reasons to hate the Floyd pick. Some are rational, some (like this one), are irrational. The guy had a great finish to the season at a position where it's difficult to adjust in the...

Free Agent Max Starks is visiting the Cardinals

Come on. The team has added 46 new players thus far, and one has come from the Steelers.

    Gill---Giordano---Gottlieb---Harris---Hill

Gill is interesting. I completely missed him as a singing by the Cards. I'm sure his chances of making the team are extremely slim, but I always get overly excited about guys with elite speed. I'm sure at the end of the day he'll end up being camp fodder though. Good stuff.

Cardinals Trade Anthony Sherman to Chiefs for cornerback Javier Arenas

Some pretty interesting data here: https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2013/04/24/neils-nfl-daily-april-24-2013/ I am not one who believes PFF data is gospel, but I think it's extremely interesting. Javier Arenas ranked as the 11th best CB in all of football at covering the slot. Patrick...

Darnell Dockett LOWEST RATED 3-4 DE UGH!

Dockett was pretty miserable with his two gap responsibilities. There were reports of the early on in Horton's tenure. Dockett seems pretty pumped about his new responsibilities under Bowles, but it's a put up or shut up year for him.

Props to Mitch. He out scooped the media by over 24 hours. Good work man.

Go get Brandon Moore and cut Colledge

Look, I get that Brandon Moore would be an upgrade, but you can't always hit the reset button on your mistakes. There is a significant cap hit that takes place if we release Colledge. Combine that with the salary you will have to pay Moore and it may not make sense financially. This isn't...

Go get Brandon Moore and cut Colledge

Not worth the cap ramifications IMO. Colledge isn't a great player, certainly not worth the contract we signed him to, but he isn't bad enough to essentially pay him to go away. We receive little to no cap benefit for releasing him. Just make him compete with Kelemete, Potter, Watford, etc.

    Snyder Cut

Wonder if there was a cultural element to this as well. I know Snyder and Colledge are good dudes, but they were extremely close too. It may have been difficult for a new rookie to come into that situation knowing he would be unseating one of them. Colledge said on twitter (which looks like it...

Congrats Daryl Washington #94 on the NFL's top 100 players for 2013!!!

I thought he was much better than 94th last year. He'll be well behind Patrick Peterson on this list, but he shouldn't be. He's our biggest difference maker on defense.

Alex Okafor...don't we already have him on our roster (Acho)?

I'd have no problem with adding another Acho to the team in the 4th round.

Chiefs 'Begging' to trade away #1 pick

I strongly disagree that he would have been graded behind Reiff and Glenn.

Is Sam Montgomery worth a high 2nd?

Agreed. I just don't see any of the round two options being a significant upgrade over what we currently have. They would be great depth, yes, but I don't see them as forces off the edge. Unless Tank Carradine falls that far as a result of his knee. This is one of the reasons I'm in favor of...

Could the Cards get a 1st for Floyd if they decide to draft Austin?

Last nine games of their rookie year: Receiver A: 32 receptions 471 yards Receiver B: 33 receptions 483 yards Receiver A: Michael Floyd Receiver B: Calvin Johnson What does this mean? Almost nothing, except for that we should give the guy a chance. I expect big things from him with a year...

Could the Cards get a 1st for Floyd if they decide to draft Austin?

I'll take Floyd and Johnson/Fisher/Warmack over Austin and Reiff. I seem to like Floyd a lot better than most though.

    Your Thoughts on This Mock?

I'd have no problem taking two guards with the first two picks. Both of those players offer some positional versatility as well. I am so tired of paying decent money to players like Colledge, Snyder, Hadnot, etc. who come in an perform poorly.

    "Burners" in this years draft

I forgot about Sanders. I like him. I saw a study the other day that showed him as having one of the lowest drop rates of all receivers in college football. Edit: Here's a link http://twitter.com/JPSTATS/status/317484706142752769/photo/1

Is OT Lane Johnson a reach at #7 for Cards?

I don't think he's a reach at all. It just depends on your risk appetite. The guy is strong, unbelievably athletic, intelligent, and extremely competitive. He obviously has some work to do with his technique and is less polished than the others. I think a lot of it depends on the information...

Wanna win now, huh ? Then the 1st round pick is......

Does Warmack's size concern anyone? Look how small he looks here: http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-combine/0ap2000000140217/Warmack-and-Bernard-prepare-for-draft Also, he measured a lot shorter than expected and has relatively small hands (9 5/8). I don't know if it should be a concern or not...
