How about Dungy saying Cowboys controlled the game.

Dallas controlled Field Position in the first half, Field Position much more even in the second half. We controlled the ball for the entire OT, equals win.

How Bout Some Free Agent Talk

I agree we need OL help, I have noticed that Graves/Whis seem to shotgun help. I would expect us to grab a FA(probably mid-level) OL or two and then draft 1 or 2 OL. This also depends on what we do with our present OL. Bridges signed thru 2012 Colledge signed thru 2015 Hadnot signed thru 2012...

How Bout Some Free Agent Talk

KW sent most of his passes to the WR(1,2,4 in receptions, Tim H was 3). Since he left, not as many to WR, more to RBs last year. This year more to TE than RB.

How Bout Some Free Agent Talk

The problem between 2009 and 2010 is mainly QB, not receivers, QBs were 391/594 in 2009, 285/561 in 2010. Not all of that is due to receivers.

How Bout Some Free Agent Talk

The second WR is doing about the same thru 11 games as we had all of 2010, so Im not sure that is as pressing a need some think. Fitz's receptions are down(on pace for 70 and over 1000 yards for the year). We don't have the backups contributing at the WR position like we did last year. What I...

    Give a little credit

I checked the play by play and the first half SF possessions were 1) Get ball on SF 19 after punt(and penalty), result a Blocked FG from the AZ 28(on the defense). 2) Get ball on AZ 38 after Interception, result a Missed FG from the AZ 31(defense no first downs). 3) Get ball on SF 37 after...

    Necessary Roughness Season Finale

I have watched the entire season so far and have enjoyed it.

If Daryl Washington keeps this up

Bradley played, He was the guy about 2 inchs late stopping Cam Newton on the touchdown plunge. Stopped his forward momentum cold, then Lenon and he pushed him back.

    Defense 2011

Are Holliday, Carter and Eason that much better than Branch, Watson and Robinson? I don't think so, although the coaching staff may trust the senior citizens more to give our starters a rest. My take on this is: last year's DL: Dockett, Robinson, Campbell Iwebema, Williams, Branch...

    Maroney Anyone?

Maroney did quite well with NE. But I do not see him as a viable option for the cardinals, He is too similar to Beanie, a good running back(he had more yard in his first 3 seasons than Tim Hightower) but not a prime receiving option(highest receiving total is 22). Also seems to be injured, as...

    Surprise Go and Surprise Stay

Eason has been placing on the nose and he has been occupying blockers so D. Washington and S. Bradley, et.al. can make the tackles. I also believe his versitility to play DE and NT will keep him on the team. Although, I will say I like the V. Holliday trade much better now than I did at the time.

    Surprise Go and Surprise Stay

Ruined my best hope. I still think waive-inj depending on how long they think to recover from the ankle sprain. Sometimes this is a 6 to 8 week recovery, and keeping him may not be practical in that case. This is his second week after the injury.

    Surprise Go and Surprise Stay

Jim Dray, if he makes the team, it will be because of special teams. I think S. Spach is aware of this, and is the backup LS to provide his own special team ability. The question is whether Wiz will go with the youth or older guy. However, I think King will take Spach's TE spot, squeezing...

    Surprise Go and Surprise Stay

Pork Chop Womack is not a surprise go, unless he really shows something in PS4, he is behind too many people to make the team.

    Surprise Go and Surprise Stay

Jim Dray is not eligible for the PS, as he was in all 16 games last year. Same as Max Hall and Max Komar.

    Surprise Go and Surprise Stay

My surprise Go: John Skelton, High Ankle sprains can take a long time to heal, and Wiz may waive-Inj him, hoping to get him back after he heals. My surprise Stay: Brodie Croyle, Wiz will not go with 2 QBs.

    Final 53

I tried another way, who for sure is being cut. need 80-53=27 I also believe that the cardinals will pick up an RB and/or CB so look for 29 S. Jeffcoat D.J Young K. O'Dowd C. Louis T. Pestock S. Skelton A. Nichols B. Nnabuife(PS) J. Navarre R. Kumpkin T. Turner K. Smith P. Togafau Q...

    Toler Torn ACL

Sorry to hear that. The lack of mention of his name in the preseason speaks to the ability he was showing. Doing his job and not getting burned on most plays. Guess this helps Marshall and Adams in their efforts to make this team.

    Cuts Have Been Made

these are the relatively easy cuts. The hard ones get the team to 53 and seem to always include some vets that surprise people. I don't think there will be any surprises today(or tomorrow).

Things I'd Like To See Against the Chargers

the defense play well with the first string putting pressure on the SD quarterback.

    Rob Housler

I feel they will keep 4 TE this year. I have heard several times that King can play the H Back and they will probably only keep 1 FB.
