    I kind of think this was a homer pick a little, McCoy's is from Denny's hometown of Harrisburg, PA. I would love to have seen us get Chad Owens (went in 6th round to JAX). He is one tough SOB who returns kicks and makes plays. McCoy is a numbers guy only with some character problems.

    I would imagine the Cardinals will try to sign Chris Hovan shortly. I'm not sure what the Cards will do as far as a corner. Maybe they will sign Kelly Herndon to an offer sheet. The loss of Starks does make our secondary rather thin.

    It might be time to draft a quarteback number one. Do you realize it's been 18 years since the Cardinals selected a QB number 1 (Kelly Stouffer-'87, never signed traded to Seahawks for Joe Wolf and Tony Jordan). It makes sense to take Rodgers or Smith at 8 if they are still on the board.

    2005 NFL Draft is weeeeeak!

    This is one of the weakest drafts I have ever followed. You don't want a top three pick this year and have to award money for those picks. It's doubtful if anyone will trade up for a top three choice, unless someone falls in love with Rodgers or Smith at qb.
