My prediction of the week: The Pats jump in a sign Shipley off our practice squad. Especially if something now happens to Amendola. He would be the perfect fit.
I just know this. If we keep picking up veterans like Warner OR Palmer, we don't need to worry about drafting everybody's biggest concern, "QBOF". Our QBOFs are 30 something vets who are damn good.
Just think about this for a minute. For Kurt Warner and Carson Palmer, we gave up ONE 6th...
If you want to see some bad spots, watch College football. That makes me appreciate what a GOOD job NFL refs do (usually, however the spots on the 3rd and 4th down challenged plays were pretty weak.)
This is awesome. When I see some of the double-what-they-should-be prices on EBay, I have always wondered if drunk-buying was their goal. Thanks for verifying that. :D
I'm not quite sure how anyone could rank Seattle ahead of Carolina at this point. Carolina beat them, at their place. Currently Seattle has 4 losses, Carolina has 0. Agree that the jury is out on us. We haven't beat anybody, though we have slaughtered a lot of poor teams. Green Bay lost 1...
My ghost is LIAC having something positive to say.
Did you realize we have won 3 games by 25 points+ and a fourth by 12? But let's just keep beating our crybaby drum.
I'll put one of these in to soften the blow...:D
:biglaugh:
Well played, though this would be better stated after a loss. On a related note, my Fantasy team name this year is "On to Cincinnati", because every year I lose in Fantasy football.
I don't agree. If they don't make 4th down, then the have to force us to go 3 and out and kick the field goal. Then they would get the ball back down 8 needing a td and 2 pt conversion to tie. No matter what, they need to force a three and out. Though trailing by 5 is better than 8 for them...
Bucannon WAS playing LB with Spoon out. Now that Spoon is back, Bucannon is now the backup LB and starting SS. That's where each of the started the Denver game, to get some work at those spots.
I liked Jones-Q but I agree with all of our moves, though I'm not a big Brittan Golden fan. Some...
Me too. Row Section 143, Row 22, Seat 17. The ticket is right here in my office in a sweet Photo Frame my brother made for me. Only small problem was partial obstructed view to the near end zone. Bur I will never forget that day!
Bert, thanks for posting that video. I got a sweet one of the...
The staff has determined that Logan Thomas stinks. That was apparent as soon as our starting playoff QB was a man that was plucked off another teams practice squad.
Maybe BA is finally seeing that accuracy and brains cannot be taught. They brought in a cerebral guy with good accuracy...
I agree with this. I think this staff is somewhat over-emphatuated with speed. We really have only one chain mover on the WR corps, and that is Larry. The rest of the guys are all vertical threats first.
The logic I think they used is the 5th WR is unlikely to see the field as a WR. I can't...
I don't understand the big love affair with Steen on this board. I think he is a beneficiary of "group think". I've watched him fairly closely in preseason because I constantly read about him on this board. He's not that good. I taped preseason game 4 last night on NFL Network, and will...
Taylor is the best pass pro RB on the roster, hands down. Not to mention a very good special teamer. That's why he has been, and is, a lock. Maybe he does some short yardage situations too, but that's not why he will make the roster.
I'm putting Jermaine Gresham on the roster. I know he had back surgery, but when Michael Bidwill was talking about Kiem scooping up a guy at the last, just like other years, I just gotta think that is Gresham.
