    I think they could once we have all of that deferred money off our books. CY isn't tradeable in my opinion because of his contract. We wouldn't get much in return. Maybe a mid-level prospect or two at best.

    DBacks have no choice but to keep playing Young. He isn't tradeable because of the extension we gave him (thru '13 averaging $6mil/year). Promote Gibson or Hale and it won't really cost us anything extra. If we don't finish this road trip strong I think Melvin will get axed.

    He was caught in an abandoned house and there was no forced entry. He wasn't arrested, caught with drugs, and didn't vandalize anything. Normally I don't stick up for dumb athletes, but this seems to be much ado about nothing.
