At the Risk of Being Sacreligious

Kind of Ironic. In Green Bay the other month I was reading an article how their GM Ted Thompson should take a few more chances on aging vets like Freeney the way Keim does. Ted is the ultimate draft and develop guy and rarely signs a free agent, figuring older guys tend to break down easier and...

    GB post game moaning.

Agreed. Once the Packers lost Cobb, it was going to be a tall order for them to win that game without Nelson, Cobb, Adams, and Montgomery at WR. They might have still lost going for two, but if you are the road underdog I think that might be your best chance in most cases. I think the Packer...

    What will you do?

If there are football Gods, the Seahawks will have to travel to Lambeau for a rematch of last year’s NFC championship game. If there are no football Gods, the Cardinals will win because they are the better team.

Packers are really Playing up the Underdog Role

The Cardinals are the better team, and they crushed the Packers a few weeks ago. But last year the Seahawks were better than the Packers and the Hawks crushed the Packers in the regular season when one of the O-lineman got hurt. In the playoffs before the Seahawk rematch McCarthy said basically...

Packers at Cardinals for our next game

It is because fans of any team can make scheduling plans or flight plans months ahead for a regular season game when they know the schedule way ahead of time. The playoff schedules are known barely a week before so it is not as easy to change work schedules or make last minute flight plans. That...

    Aaron Rodgers quote:

It is obvious the Cardinals are the better team. But being the leader of the Pack Rodgers can’t say we suck, and we have no chance of beating the Cardinals if we meet again in the playoffs. He has to at least give his teammates confidence and hope that there is a chance to beat the Cardinals if...

    Cards vs Green Bay

True, but on the flip side the same can be said about the Seahawks when the Cardinals beat them, and the Packers crushed the Vikings on the road a couple of weeks ago while the Cardinals squeaked by the Vikings at home. Part of me thinks the Cardinals will crush the Packers because the...

    Cards vs Green Bay

The potential playoff teams the Packers beat are the Vikings, Seahawks, and Chiefs. The potential playoff teams the Cardinals beat are the Vikings, Seahawks, and Bengals. I think the Cardinals are a little better and more balanced than the Packers, but I do not think there is a huge difference...

Arians to Cardinals fans: ‘It ain’t worth’ selling your tickets

Almost everyone has a price at some point. I was at a Monday night game at Lambeau earlier this year against the Chiefs, and during the National anthem unexpectedly heard a large part of the crowd yell Home of the Chiefs. I was actually impressed that their fans traveled to Lambeau, and more...

Vikings-20 Cards-23: The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly

That might not be true if Seattle is locked into a wild card spot by then. Not sure if Pete would sit some starters or not if that were the case.

OT: Ref responsible for 'Fail Mary' suffers from PTSD, severe depression

There is no excuse to making death threats towards the guy, and that is the only thing I feel bad about towards this guy. Otherwise, most Packer fans are way past this. The thing that bugs me about the guy is that he will never admit that he made a mistake, and that he writes a book about it...

This aint the same old Cards at all

Graves needed to go years ago. I was never impressed with him. I wish they would hire a strong GM first though, then let the new GM hire the coach he feels he can work well with, but still has authority over when final decisions on personnel needs to be made.

What If Sports: Cards @ Packers

It is not so far fetched. The Packers have 6 starters and 2 key backups who might be out. The Packers have played down to the competition in the loss against the Colts and the win against the Jags. One Packer beat writer said that if you compare both rosters that the Cardinals have better...

    This is not our fight

Glad to. The Packers' poor play in the first half actually bothers me more than the bad call. If the Packers would have played the 1st half the way they did the 2nd half, they never would have let it come down to one play. I didn't think either team deserved to win with the way they played...

    Matt Flynn agrees with Seahawks

My understanding was Flynn turned Miami down. Miami wanted him. Quotes of Matt Flynn per the Milwaukee journal. On why he chose Seattle over Miami: "I am close with Joe (Philbin), I think a lot of him. I think he’s gonna do a great job in Miami. I think he’s gonna be a really successful head...

    Matt Flynn agrees with Seahawks

Flynn reminds me of Hasselbeck. Hasselbeck had no starts when the Packers traded him to Seattle. Hard to say what Flynn will do, but I wouldn't be surprised if he started out slow the first year but later developed into a decent QB like Hasselbeck did.

    America's true team

The Packers are my favorite team because Wisconsin is where I’m from and because I own a share of stock in the team. The Cardinals are my 2nd favorite team because Arizona is where I live now and I root for them when they are not playing the Packers. The thing that amazed me the most recently is...

I seen that. The Packers have also had some key undrafted rookies make their roster the last few years. I was curious how those guys fit in the stats the ESPN guys threw up there.

Come on everybody..lets jump on the Packer bandwagon :D

Don't become a Packer fan. Consider becoming an NFL Owner instead. The Packers will be selling shares of stock in their team before the end of the year. Stocks will probably sell for around $200 a share after the Securities and Exchange Commission gives their apporval.

Remember when Aaron Rodgers got benched for being awful his first season starting?

Rodgers did not get pulled out of that game because of 3 picks. He got pulled because he sprained his shoulder. He tried to play wth it at first but could not continue. Flynn was a 6th round rookie that year. The coaches did not pull Rodgers because of 3 INTS for a 6th round rookie who wasn't...
