    Suns vs Lakers Nov.20

I dont think there is even a slight chance that his jersey gets retired by the lakers. Burned too many bridges. While i appreciate hos contributions to our 3 titles, i have never been a Shaq fan. His work ethic is lacking and i always believed he could hve gone down as the best center of all...

    Suns vs Lakers Nov.20

I think it's a shame that someone who has had such a great career has to make a fool of himself with comments clearly made to try to keep the ever diminishing limelight on himself. As if the Lakers would ever want his sorry a$$ back after all the bridges he burned. A true laugher....:D

The 2008-09 Los Angeles Lakers Thread

So this is where you are hanging out. I kept looking in the Suns forum and no posts from the Laker contingent. I see they dont mention the Lakers too much over there now. Hmmmmmm... They are however, full blown on the "poor pitiful suns getting mistreated by the league" routine again. Go figure...

OT: Iverson traded to DET for Billups, McDyess, Samb

Mcdyess has stated that he will only play for Detroit or retire. Denver will buy him out and he will wait the 30 days and resign with Detroit. AI and Hamilton will start but the future PG for Detroit is Stuckey. Maybe they are thinking of bringing Hamilton off the bench? AI is a future 20...

    Bynum demanding max deal

The Lakers have until Oct 31 to wait and see how he comes back before offering to extend him. If he comes back at 100% and continues to show the promise he did this year before the injury then they will most definetly extend him for the max or close to it. You just don't find 20 yr old centers...

    Shaq dissing Kobe, Ewing, Kareem.....

Ignorant 1.lacking in knowledge 2.lacking knowledge or information as to a particular subject or fact 3.uninformed; unaware. Well, my knowledge and information says you have not got there in quite a while. Maybe you should find another word to use?:bang: Have a good night!

    Shaq dissing Kobe, Ewing, Kareem.....

I have been posting here longer than you my friend. I never saw where Kobe didn't take responsibility for the loss. Maybe you can point me to where he didn't. Kobes' numbers were actually almost identical to the finals MVP Pierces'. Go figure. But still, it was subpar for Kobe and evey interview...

    Shaq dissing Kobe, Ewing, Kareem.....

Actually, Bynum is not going to hurt but ill wait untill I see if hes back 100% to judge that. I don't neccesarily think he will make us tougher but he certainly will alter shots and rebound better than Gasol. 2-4, 3-4, 0-4.... It's a loss anyway you look at them. The celtics vet experience...

    Shaq dissing Kobe, Ewing, Kareem.....

Ohhhh Ouuuuch... I'd say, come back next year even stronger and with our youthful team a little wiser. Of course we will probably make a move or two to help with the softness. Most certainly, we wont PANIC and trade for an over the hill 20 million dollar mouthpiece. I'd be willing to bet our...

Your original comment was meant to mock and incite and everyone knows it. Then you act like like you were just saying you were shocked or surprised. If anyone here is acting trollish.... it's you. Go jump back on your high horse.

    Shaq dissing Kobe, Ewing, Kareem.....

I wouldn't count on it. While Shaq is out partying and getting fat, Kobe is preparing for the Olympics. This is a typical ploy for media attention after a first round exit and realization that his career is on the downslide. If you think he didn't realize the stir this would make, I have some...

    Shaq dissing Kobe, Ewing, Kareem.....

Was there a question? I never saw a question. It was Shaq bringing up 4 year old news that has been rehashed hundreds of times. Not to mention that Shaq himself said it's been resolved and they are ok with each other. Apparently, Shaq isn't so over it. But of course, Shaq was just goofing...

    Shaq dissing Kobe, Ewing, Kareem.....

No doubt Kobe ratting him out was the worst thing he has done. Nobody in their right mind would condone that, you just don't do it. I certainly do not. However, for Shaq to blame Kobe for his divorce is a total cop out. If he dosesn't cheat on the wife, it's a non issue. Get used to this from...

    Shaq dissing Kobe, Ewing, Kareem.....

This point has been argued here a thousand times. Just like Shaq, you simply cannot let sleeping dogs lay. The mods had everyone vote to add an NBA section like most sites have and the Suns fans voted it down. You go to the extreme to post the header yet you obviously did not read it. Go figure.

When will people critically analyze Kobe Bryant's playoff performances?

The reason I posed the original question was in part to make a point how we judge players to different standards. I knew people would say those numbers were not up to the expectation of a MVP. The point is.... Kobe is always graded on a scale that is just not fair. Those numbers posted... were...

When will people critically analyze Kobe Bryant's playoff performances?

I agree with the majority of your post. I do blame PJ for being outcoached though. He never really made adjustments to Rivers' adjustments. How he could leave Vlade in for so long so many times just baffles me. He was a friggen turnstile the whole series. You are right on the money about the...

When will people critically analyze Kobe Bryant's playoff performances?

So would you say Pierce totally outplayed everyone? Did he have a truly exceptional Finals MVP performance? The Lakers are young and their youth showed. They got beat by a better defensive team. And had they finished the game 2 20 point comeback and not given up the Game 4 one (both in the last...

When will people critically analyze Kobe Bryant's playoff performances?

Let the Kobe bashing begin! Just can't let it go can you guys? There are many reasons the Celts won. I agree with Dream that PJ deserves much more of the fault than anyone, followed closely by the fact the bench, who were strong all year, simply didn't show up. Gasol and Odom played a total of...

    Celtics - NBA Champions

Yes we have, and thanks for the compliment. Regardless of any differing views, I call it like i see it. We simply did not show up and i think our youth had a lot to do with it. Well be back, and no doubt we will have our tussles again. Isn't that half the fun in being a fan anyway? Good...
