Arizona Diamondbacks @ Washington Nationals April 27 - April 29

Archie with a lightening fast 6 pitch 1-2-3 8th inning
  2. Billions of Mario

Arizona Diamondbacks @ Washington Nationals April 27 - April 29

Pollock ties the game with a clutch 2 out single in the 8th Now 3-3 going to the bottom of the 8th, Archie in to pitch
  3. Billions of Mario

    Larry Fitzgerald beyond next season

I agree with this I think his willingness to stay on the cards beyond this year will be influenced by how the QB position is looking If Rosen can come in and start the final 6 to 8 games and look pretty good, that will help
  4. Billions of Mario

    Round 2 who's left

Kc just got watkins plus they have hill, doubt they go wr
  5. Billions of Mario

Arizona Diamondbacks @ Washington Nationals April 27 - April 29

I am pumped at this start so far, especially considering no Lamb and Souza. Hopefully we can get them back during the homestand.
  6. Billions of Mario

Reality check: Doesn’t mean much if we can’t protect him

Hump and Iupati haven't been able to stay healthy and Smith hasn't been a good T in years. And Shipley may not have been awful last year but he is also not what I would consider to be anything more than mediocre. Without adding more pieces, there is a lot of risk here IMO, especially at RT.
  7. Billions of Mario

I had a dream last night

If Rosen ends up being a stud, we are going to look back at this sequence of events and feel like our luck has changed for good. I'm still amazed it shook out like this. I thought there was about a 10% chance one of the top 4 QBs would be there at 10.
  8. Billions of Mario

    1st round grades

I saw that earlier, thanks for posting it here. Keim looks like an absolute genius right now considering what everyone else gave to move up.
  9. Billions of Mario

Rosen game tapes if you want to get to know him

I just watched 3 of these, Washington, Hawaii, and ASU I see a player making lots of good decisions with accuracy and zip. Very good with play action too. Lots of short stuff but the intermediate to deep passes were generally on the money. Also see a player who is athletically somewhat limited...
  10. Billions of Mario

    Round 2 who's left

Hernandez and Jackson seem like they would be high on their list I think there is a good chance they go OL or CB in round 2 with WR also being a possibility, maybe Sutton or Kirk
  11. Billions of Mario

    The draft is finally here!

I think the 2nd rounder will be either CB or OL I think they go WR in the 3rd or 4th. I would love miller there.
  12. Billions of Mario

    Give SK some credit

Keim did it, Rosen may not work out but it was a gamble that made sense and he had the balls to go for it Gives the franchise hope for the future at minimal cost and that was very important, no one was getting excited about Bradford/Glennon
  13. Billions of Mario

2018 1st round pick is Josh Rosen

I am absolutely ecstatic here. The price to move up was completely reasonable. He was not going to be there at 15. Once again, do not believe what you hear leading up to the draft. Fantastic Keim smokescreen and he learned his lesson from last year. Stoked that we have some real hope now!
  14. Billions of Mario

    Budda Baker’s brother murdered

That's a very nice part of Seattle, pretty shocking R.I.P Hopefully Budda is given whatever time he needs for this. He is going to be playing with a heavy heart for a long time.
  15. Billions of Mario

    Josh Rosen, Josh Rosen, Rosen

Rosen! Rosen! Rosen! I hope if he somehow slips the Cards trade up for him, assuming we can avoid tossing in next year's first if possible. I am hoping if any of Rosen, Mayfield or Darnold are there by some miracle at 10 we could offer OAK our 2nd this year and possibly a later pick next year...
  16. Billions of Mario

Per NFL Network report from Cards Headquarters

Thank you sir. This means I am going to miss the first few picks unfortunately.
  17. Billions of Mario

    OT: Lamar Jackson

If he is there I believe he is the most likely pick at 15 assuming the top 4 QBs are gone and they like him more than they do Rudolph, which I think they do. And of course assuming Keim doesn't move up but that would require one of the top 4 slipping because he is not going to pay the price to...
  18. Billions of Mario

Sam Bradford/Mike Glennon combined win/loss record:

He was pretty good game manager type in 2016. 3800 yards, 20-5 TD to INT ratio, over 70% passing. I think the cards are hoping for that + a good defense = playoffs but this is pretty short sighted and assumes we can keep him healthy behind a questionable O-line. It really provides very little...
  19. Billions of Mario

Per NFL Network report from Cards Headquarters

Does anyone know what time the draft starts tonight, meaning what time the first pick will actually be announced?
  20. Billions of Mario

Who are we drafting first, third edition

I agree he has been predictable in the past but I think he has learned from his mistakes. If he hasn't then I have been giving him too much credit lately. I think it's all a smokescreen but we will see tonight. I'll be getting out the popcorn and the beer.
  21. Billions of Mario

    If mayock is right...

I'm surprised that some of you think Keim would tip his hand in any way after how badly he was violated last year when the Chiefs moved up to take Mahomes who the cards were reported to really like
  22. Billions of Mario

Per NFL Network report from Cards Headquarters

I don't believe it. Keim got burned badly last year when it became public knowledge they wanted Mahomes and he is not going to make the same mistake this year
  23. Billions of Mario

    If mayock is right...

Rosen, but he won't make it to 15 If he is there at 10 by some miracle I would bet Keim would trade up and would do the same for Allen if he was there at 10 I expect all the top 4 QBs to be gone by 5 though and Keim to take Jackson at 15 or trade back and take Rudolph later in the 1st
  24. Billions of Mario

    Mayfield #1?

I have a hard time believing the pick won't be Darnold Should be a fun draft
  25. Billions of Mario

    Martavis Bryant on Trade Block

I don't the the talent justifies the public me first attitude we saw last year or the potential long suspension if he gets busted again I'd too would probably give up a 5th and no higher
