Bradford's contract gives him 312k per week he's active.

I think I'd cut him tomorrow. Even if it means starting Glennon. I think I'd risk the increase in turnovers as opposed to nothing but 3 and outs.

I think he has to be active all 16 games to get it.

Signing bonus $10 mil

Sam's made $7,716 per yard for the Cardinals so far.

1) the funniest part was how many fans talked themselves into Bradford as our QB to start the year. I encourage fans to practice a little self awareness and not talk themselves into every dumb decision a FO makes.

2) I am not excited about starting Rosen with Mack on the other side of the line. At this point you tell Bradford he's being paid game checks to take the beating so our fresh young QB doesn't start his career getting lit up. I don't want the next David Carr on our roster. Kind of like that Browns WR whose punishment was to play all of the preseason game, Bradford's punishment is to trot out there for 3 and out after 3 and out.

Look at the bright side though, we're 1/8 of the way through the year! The suffering will be over before you know it.

The o-line is the best we have had in years.

They can't seem to run block very will...even though that is what they are mostly all known for. When you cannot run the ball you put out all on the passing game and a rookie QB with only one true option to throw to will get killed either through sacks and/or picks.

I stand by my David Carr comparison.

So, save Rosen for later in the season.

The season is lost.

What's the cap benefit going forward for cutting Bradford before he gets on the plane and starting Glennon.

the on the field results can't possibly be worse.

What is going to different later in the season that would make you start Rosen then?

It's easy to stack the box vs the run when the passing game never attempts throws more than 5 yards.

David Carr. Learn the lesson from that fiasco of putting in a rookie behind a leaky OL.

The lesson being that a rookie quarterback behind a leaky line on a poo team an put up some pretty impressive numbers?

Can you please list Goff's starting WRs for his first game sir? Unless you can prove otherwise, I'm going to assume that Goff had two or three NFL level WRs to throw to. Rosen will not have that luxury.

Kenny Britt and Brian Quick.

I rest my case....

He is talking about David Carr who was ripped limb from limb in the Texans first few seasons

Corrected.

An expansion team in their first year of play with a rookie quarterback.

Outlier conditions.

Our O-line isn't giving up 70 sacks this year.

You're confusing David with Derek. David was drafted by the Texans way back when and had talent but the team sucked and he got sacked 6 times a game. Never recovered and had deer in the headlight syndrome until he called it quits.

True, I mixed up the Carr's.

But everyone is mixing up the Texans inaugural season offensive line with the Cardinals current offensive line.

By the way, although I did indeed mix up the Carr's in my previous posts.

I would like to point out that David Carr still played a better game of football today than Sam Bradford did.

Fair enough. Should we also wait until the eleventh game of the season before we start Rosen? If we're going to follow the "Goff formula"?

Goff started the 9th game and the Rams were 4-5 when they switched.

I don't see 4-5 in our future.

But I think in Garbage time like today where decent QB protection is evident that you have to give Rosen a series. Especially going forward when we are getting creamed other teams are more likely to pump the brakes on defensive aggression when the game is well in hand.

You put him in today at the end it's obvious there's no burden to win but to just execute the offense effectively even if it results in no points.

No. Goff started in week eleven of the 2016 season, for the Rams 10th game, and he did not attempt a regular season pass until that point.

In the name of God in heaven, can we at least wait 10 full games before we throw the kid out there?

Can we not panic like little girls please?

Not calling for Rosen to start. But there's situational play out there on the field where he can run a series during garbage time.

On Goff, right, game 10. I don't count bye weeks. I said above the rams were 4-5 when they switched but incorrectly said the 9th game. So you're nitpicking a typo.

What you call "panicking like little girls" I call giving your "future" quarterback some live game experience when nothings on the line and the risks are minimal.

Maybe Rosen flashes early and we can mitigate Bradfords cap hit going forward while still having Glennon on the roster.

I guess that sounds reasonable. Maybe even beneficial. Just keep the pressure off the kid, and keep him away from fresh, first string defensive lines.

And possibly not against defenses that don't pump the brakes when they are up 30 points at the end of the 4th quarter.

Although, the o-line looked good enough to me in pass protection today to have given rosen the final series.

Bradford just looks to me like he's playing not to get hurt. It's hard to tell if thats a crappy scheme or self protectionism.

Why is everyone trying to win?

We are so not going anywhere, THE WORST thing in the world would be doing something that achieves winning a few games now. Nope it takes real time and labor to achieve this level of awfulness and it deserves the number one pick, deal it or keep it but just don't get all worked up about winning a game or two now.

One of the most amazing things in sports is that the Cards almost never get the number one pick even when they're the worst team in the league. Let's start off by understanding when you are wretched the best thing you can do is to accept it and move on.
