He's been sacked 3 times in 2 games. 61 pass attempts 3 sacks. now Rosen would get sacked more than that absolutely, he's a rookie, but this is not some epic bad pass protection that Sam is playing behind, at least not yet it's not.

He's just playing like he's scared to get hit. the one play Phrazbit and I pointed out in the game where it was 3rd down and the pass rush came from outside left, so his right. He saw it and he just ran backwards, like Kolb as Phrazbit said, and then dumped it off for a 5 yard loss. I'm not saying he wasn't under pressure but he did the exact opposite of what a veteran is supposed to do there. Palmer for all his issues in that play, he steps up to avoid the pressure and tries to get the ball downfield enough for a first down, even stepping up and dumping to the same receiver increases the odds of it working. When QB's start doing what he did, something is VERY wrong.

He threw short to Kirk later and he got lit up by 3 guys, he did the same to DJ on an incompletion. At a certain point the phrase married men off the infield comes into play when the QB is playing that scared.

I've had 3 knee surgeries, I completely get Sam being worried about staying healthy, but at this point he's just playing like he doesn't want to be out there.

I actually think the line has been okay.

It seems like Bradford's first read is to the flat or the checkdown. It's hard to blame receivers for the QB throwing to the underneath routes every play and it's hard to think it's by design when Bradford has been doing it his entire career.

Agreed even when your down 34-0 with seconds remaining???

Why is everyone trying to win?

We are so not going anywhere, THE WORST thing in the world would be doing something that achieves winning a few games now. Nope it takes real time and labor to achieve this level of awfulness and it deserves the number one pick, deal it or keep it but just don't get all worked up about winning a game or two now.

One of the most amazing things in sports is that the Cards almost never get the number one pick even when they're the worst team in the league. Let's start off by understanding when you are wretched the best thing you can do is to accept it and move on.
Except cardinals history says they will screw up the draft pick by winning games in December when they mean nothing for us

Because he is known as a gunslinger prone to concussions

Unless you're never going to play him, this isn't even an argument. Our OL hasn't been overly leaky, so unless you want to wrap the poor kid in bubble wrap, get him out there and get him experience.

Not biased at all. You’ve never heard me say a good word about OSU quarterbacks in the last 10 years.

This kid is the real deal.

Kid looks to be a stud. I agree that we need to see if Rosen shows anything. You keep drafting QB’s until you get your stud. If it’s not Rosen, then draft Haskins.

Makes sense if you are calling reasonable plays on offense

If nothing else, you get experience against NFL defenses, regardless of the play calls. Now, if don't go out in the offseason and hire an innovative offensive staff (including a head coach) under a new and hopefully better GM, we'll really be wasting a young QB draft pick.

Exactly, the ACL's are in his head now. He's done.

I kinda forgot about Kolbcussion, that dude backpedaled on literally every snap.

I’d rather throw in an expendable “never was” than a top investment

This isn't a Star Wars action figure that we can't remove from the box.

If Rosen is fragile then he's fragile. We'd be better off figuring that out sooner than later.

But I'd be fine with running Glennon out there too.

I'm over Bradford. Two yard passes on 3rd and 6th just don't do it for me.

Rosen or Glennon both probably turn it over more and have some really ugly plays, but I think I'd rather risk losing 48-14 than watch another slog like today's game.

If you don't want to lose the locker room, you have to start Rosen at some point. I don't love the idea of him taking on the Bears defense, but you have to start somewhere. I wanted him to start after the bye, but you have to figure out hat you have in him sooner than later. I like the idea of giving him an entire week to prep for a game vs putting him in mid-game when we are down and the defense can tee off on him.

It’s not a matter of fragile, it’s a matter of whether this is an absolutely incompetent staff. Don’t throw him into a dink and dunk buzzsaw

I think McCoy is probably lousy but I KNOW Bradford is a dink and dunk QB. The game plan does not call for Bradford it hit guys 3 yards away on 3rd and 8, I swear, he's often doing it as his first or 2nd read.

Yup I said the same thing. This team is very close to not believing in the HC & what his staff is teaching. This is a results business & the staff is getting spanked in the process.

It’s not that they are losing, it’s how they are losing!!! They are getting drubbed, smoked & embarrassed in every part of the game. Historically bad football

I want to see a Michael Bidwill put the management and staff in check before risking the confidence of our QBOTF. I have never seen anything like this offense. I want to see the culprits held accountable before the 22 year old rookie becomes a part of this mess

That’s why I say it’s not Sam Bradford - considered McCoy the problem but - across the board every unit sucks - so blamed or not Wilkes is responsible - or maybe Keim and Michael Bidwill - because Wilkes could not say what his offense was when hired - said it would be determined .... it’s determined now - 9 DJ carries last week 13 this week - looks like Whiz and BA box score - 17 - 27 - yes the game depicts more passing - cause this 4-3 defense sucks at stopping the run and the pass - it all points to Wilkes baby the defense and his horse of McCoy’s offense - I’m pretty sure Bradford would be successful on other teams in other offenses -
