I swear, put "Phoenix" on the Laker jerseys and every TV analyst in America would be saying that they don't play defense well enough to win a title.

The Lakers had the 6th best field goal % defense in the regular season at 44.7% and coming into today's game had the 2nd best field goal % defense in the playoffs at 43.0%. The Lakers were 5th best in defensive efficiency during the regular season and 4th best in defensive efficiency so far in the playoffs.

So maybe that's why the analysts aren't all busy saying the Lakers don't play good enough defense. :p

Not expecting much tonight with Salvatore running the crew. He's just an atrocious ref who lets crowds affect his calls, homer ref to the core.

Hope they stay close and have a remote shot in the 4th. Down 8 with 6 minutes left and we'll have a decent shot at it.

I actually think it's been a very evenly, is that a word, called game.
They are letting them play.
What more can you ask for?

I think you're missing the point. Whether the statement would be logical wouldn't be relevant.

Donald, it sure seems to me that Ariza has made MAJOR strides offensively this year. Yes?

Yes, absolutely. He had the foot injury last year and was in a walking boot, and word is he shot his butt off, working hard on his form.

He's improved dramatically offensively...loved his D when he came and the shot is gravy, becoming a complete player. We traded Brian freaking Cook for the guy, ffs.

Man, I am not a fan of the Kobe vs. everyone on the other team play.

Pass the freaking ball. Turning it over, bricking shots, and getting blocked is not getting it done.

Give it to Ariza or Pau !!

Don't go right at a guy when he just tied the record for blocks in a Finals game...

If we lose this one we gave it away with poor possessions down the stretch. Couldn't play well with the lead. UGH.

Here's hoping for OT.
