Magics lost on a pair of Superman The Original's freethrows and JRich/Nash type of defense on buzzer-beating 3s! :D

I'm kind of surprised that the Lakers are up 3-1 since Kobe has only played well in 1 game so far.

As a member of ASFN I love ya brother.
But seriously? How many times can you run up and down a basketball court repeatedly? Let alone do suicides?
Pau would kick your ass in a nanosecond.

So true. Andrew might get in one hit when he started crying and Pau was busy laughing.

The Magic deserved to lose this after that horrible Nelson play, damn.

LOL at Gasol acting all hardcore, dude has about 2 feet on me but I bet I could still kick his ass...[/quote]

Andrew.......lets be realistic bro. My little neice who is 2 years old could kick your ass. Also, FYI the amount of hair on your face and head does not equate to strength.

Little do yall know that Andrew is the son of Sampson.

LOL...dude. He's not tiny man. He's also not soft. Sure, a guy like Howard can muscle him, but the boy definitely gets his vitamins. Do you get your vitamins, Andrew?

Greatest ridiculous post ever. Love it.

Only played well in one game?

4 straight games with 8 dimes. For mr. selfish.

He's not playing KOBE BRYANT well, but ffs, it isn't like he's sucking out there like 2004 against Detwat when he SUCKED out there.

Haters, they gonna hate...

Kobe's standards are hard to match, I guess.

I'd pay pay per view money to see Andrew fight Pau. It would be worth the hundred bucks for one minute.

Like Tyson vs. Allan. Two hits....Pau hitting Andrew and Andrew hitting the floor.

LOL for Andrew.

Did any one see Van Gundy's and Jackson's post game pressers. Phil said the reason he took it full court was because the magic had a foul to give and he felt that would give the lakers a better chance to reset if they needed. Van Gundy was adamant they did not have one.

I just checked the play by play and it looks like they did have one. That is HUGE. Van gundy could have fouled at about 7-8 seconds. Then the lakers have to reset, and magic can foul again at about 5 seconds.

Instead van gundy said they were not fouling no matter what. Barkley and Kenny were talking about how big a screw up that could be (they weren't sure who was right) I hop others notice it.

Come on, there's plenty of times even you probably called him soft. i know every other laker fan has. The man is playing great right now, that doesn't mean he's a tough guy. He even had the I don't really want to get in Pietrus's face, but I don't want to look like a puss, look on his face.

Pietrus maybe giving up some size, but I'll take him any day in a fight over gasol.

I love the suns but I'll be more than happy to admit when our players (even those I love) are soft. Soft in terms of phyiscal confrontation not soft mentally, there are differences.

For example, if nash didn't flail his arms in the air and act like he was shot by horry, d'antoni wouldn't have freaked and boris and amare would have stayed on the bench.

Dude, we are talking about Andrew fighting Pau. Yes, Pau is "soft" because he's a finesse NBA 7 footer who still plays strong down low...and "soft" is a kind of whiny statement on the dude in general.

But compared to our Kurt Cobain looking, Shaq loving friend? Man, Pau would wax his ass before Andrew pulled his hands up.

Compared to Andrew, Pau is gansta...

He did manage to miss 20 shots. That is a lot of shots.

Dude takes a lot of shots. I think that's been firmly established for a long, long time. As long as he's over 1 point per shot (which he barely reached) it's ok. He's only shooting 43% against Orlando, after going 48% against Denver. But he's a volume shooter.

Like I said, he isn't playing spectacular, but most players would give their testicles to drop 32-7-8 in the finals and have people say they aren't playing well, regardless of how many shots they take.

There are two main reasons these games are as close as they are and why the Magic should be at minimum tied with the Lakers at this point:

1.) The Magic are choking... BIG TIME. Howard just needed to make one foul throw last night when at the line with 11 seconds and a 3 point lead... just one and the game is over... And Nelson's "defense" on Fish was pathetic. Nelson went under the 3 point line... Huh??? What the heck was he thinking!!

2.) Kobe can't seem to find the way to get Pau and Odom the ball more often... I'm convinced that the Lakers success is dependant not so much on how many shots Kobe puts up, but how many shots Pau and Odom take... The more those two are an active part of the offense, the more the Lakers become unstoppable...

I'll give the Lakers their props because they have made the plays down the stretch. Thats clutch. And needs to be commended.

But thsi VERY young Magic team is one easily missed layup and one made free throw away from being up 3-1 themselves. The Lakers ceratinly arent on another level than the Magic. They just have the necessary experience.

They aren't that young. Howard is 23. The rest of the guys are pretty old.

Actually, their core is pretty young.

Howard - 23
Lee - 23
Nelson - 27
Pietrus - 27
Redick - 24

Rashard Lewis is 29 which is kind of up there, but still young enough to play quite a few more years. Their oldest significant player is Turkoglu and he's 30. Their in shape to contend for quite a while.

Fantastic.. The NBA is fantastic.. Yet again one of the 10% of the league wins the Championship.. This is getting old.. The drama is gone.. The rules make no sense.. They change them at a whim.. All there is are slogans.. Fantastic, Amazing, etc.. Its just a marketing machine.. No real intrique that the common team could win.. Look no further than Boston getting the gift of Garnett and the gift of Gasol to LA.. Scripted.. Im done with this game.. Childhood youth wasted.. Thanks..

A bit over the top Gee!
but....I don't discount your observation ,and would only add that a new NBA commish would be an interesting start.
