Missed violation on the jump ball helps the Nuggets. So much for the conspiracy theorists...

Nene should have been jumping on that, not Billups. Missed call to begin with.

You have to be kidding. Billips was the first to tie it up...watch the replay... and if you really watch you would see Kobe calling time out prior.

(If i was a suns fan): It clearly obvious Stern wants the the Nuggets to win with such a blatant missed call as smith running through the tip off circle.

Was a good game and the Lakers have nobody to blame but themselves for the loss. Missed free throws and terrible shot selection down the stretch.

Nene got there once Billups and Gasol were already tied up. Lakers got screwed for a change.
I'm really impressed with Denver though. Melo flat out outplayed Kobe, Billups is still the most underrated player in the league, and KMart, Nene and the Stoner are making people forget about Camby.

Hah. No. Nene had the ball. Billups had air. I just ran the DVR back to watch it a few times.

Lakers cry and moan every play. Kobe stompin' his feet like a 2 year old. Bunch of lil' *******. Nuggets will take the next two in Denver.

It's a joke to argue otherwise. It was obvious without replay that Nene had all ball and Billups was grabbin' air.

Actually Billups smacked Gasol in the face if we're talking about the same play. :D

Did Bryant shoot any freethrows in the second half? I looked at the stats at one point and he was 10/10 but can't recall if that was at the half or end of the 3rd. He finished the game 10/10.

If he did it wasn't many. He stopped taking it to the basket. Biggest reason the Lakers lost was settling for jump shots down the stretch.

Then clearly there is no sense discussing it cause you cant see properly.

You are the one with a horse in the race. I don't like the Nuggets either. I can see just fine and I see Nene with his hands on the ball.

Air / Gasol's head... 6 of one, half dozen of another. :D

Point though, it was clearly Nene that should have been jumpin'.

It's still a violation against Denver on the jump regardless of the jumpers... :D

Guys in rec ball can tell you that you aren't able to cut through the circle while the ball is in the air...

Your not as fun as the other Laker fans who raid this board. You actually have a level head. I don't think I've ever been able to get under your skin in all these years, the rest of them though... they make it too easy.

Certainly it was a violation on J.R., but I'm sure there were non calls that went both ways throughout the game.

I believe its quite obviouos Nene had his hands on the ball. Duh. I said, Billups had it first. Nothing difficult to understand there.

The Lakers did not lose because of the call. Aparently many here do not see the sarcasim in the posts. Yes it was a bad call, that's obvious. But the Lakers lost this game with terrible shot selection to close out quarters, missed clutch free throws, and a hard fought game by the Nuggets who never gave in.
