Welcome to Amareca
Wade was never ever as good a passer or playmaker or shooter as Fultz.
This. Just don't see the Wade comparison.Wade was never ever as good a passer or playmaker or shooter as Fultz.
Are you guys saying that fultz is a going to be a better player than wade? I think that's what I'm reading from slin and cardssunsdbacks. I just want to be sure what it is you're saying.
Wow. Tyler Ennis leads the Lakers in the win over the Spurs.
I just ran tankathon 10 times. (I had told myself I wouldn't do it). We had a top 3 pick 9 of the 10 times.
Cheering for every Suns game like this.
Lakers beat spurs, they did everything to lose!
Sat deangelo, barely played ingram, gave 4th qtr minutes to nwaba and artest and still won. .. because pop barely played his starters and played bertans, Forbes big minutes, ha!
I wouldn't put it past pop to want to screw the lakers for long term.
Man how sweet would it be to see the Lakers drop back and lose their pick which would also mean they lose their 2019 pick to Orlando.
There's a very good chance of this with the Lakers in the 3 spot as at least one team usually makes a jump in the draft.Man how sweet would it be to see the Lakers drop back and lose their pick which would also mean they lose their 2019 pick to Orlando.
If the Lakers wanna lose they probably should have let Ingram play, he has been dreadful this year. The only mitigation is that he is "only 19".
Lot of laker fans thinking pop did it on purpose to screw them, i wouldn't put I beyond him.
He was very pissed about the gasol trade in 2008, saying maybe nba should have a common sense trade commision.
If he can potentially set back the nba's number 1 franchise for many years in a meaningless game, why not?
Maybe other teams can help us, Dallas and sacramento don't rest your starters against us, great payback on an organization you both hate!
doubt anyone with half a braincell would draw that comparison.I don't know anything about that but I read somewhere he could be the next Bledsoe. Not sure I'm totally digging that for our team. I think we need a facilitator like Ball or even Jackson. Booker, Chriss, and Warren should be fed the ball.

Fultz is a tantalizingly gifted shot-creator, sporting an extraordinary combination of body control, ball-handling, footwork and pace. He changes speeds, directions and uses both hands innately, spinning off opponents, splitting ball-screens frequently, and finishing with euro-steps. He combines his ability to get wherever he wants on the floor with outstanding shot-making prowess off the dribble, making 42% of his pull-up jumpers on the season, with his 1.02 PPP ranking second best among draft prospects. At his best with the ball in his hands, Fultz ranked as the second most efficient prospect in college basketball in pick and roll situations, both as a passer or scorer, according to Synergy Sports Technology. He is highly creative and unselfish in terms of getting teammates easy baskets, and enjoyed quite a bit of success as a distributor despite not having ideal talent around him or enjoying great spacing, often sharing the floor with two non-shooting big men. Fultz's 36% assist percentage ranks second best in this draft behind only Jawun Evans, and he doesn't turn the ball over excessively at 13.3%. He will look even better in the NBA when surrounded with better spacing and more shooters around him, as he uses both hands to distribute, sees the weak-side and strong side equally effectively thanks to his outstanding size, court vision and super high basketball IQ. As good as Fultz is on the ball, he also has significant potential operating alongside another ball-handler with his excellent size, length and frame, giving his future NBA coach plenty of lineup flexibility. He made 38% of catch and shoot jumpers on the season according to Synergy, and even shows some budding ability to come off screens and rise up smoothly to create separation. - Source: http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Markelle-Fultz-90302/ ©DraftExpress
He is a better prospect than Wade was.
Not sure what the point is though, there have been a couple of players drafted since Wade that are better than Wade.
It shouldn't shock anyone if Fultz turned out better.
As if NBA titles are an individual achievement. Wade was never the best player on a championship team.
First it was the last elite year of Shaq and then it was Lebron. Not many NBA stars have the luxury of having such teammates.

Wade was not only the Finals MVP in 2006, but he averaged over 27 ppg in the regular season and over 28 ppg in the playoffs. That was the year where he got to the line over and over again (James Harden before James Harden) and practically willed his team to the championship. Shall was still good, but he wasn't the best player on that team. Wade was.
