There's got to be a D-Leaguer out there worth taking a look at for the next couple of games though. We should be able to find someone who'll take a 10 day contract who'll audition for the team. Hell, sign Lavar Ball, let's see what he's got.

Don't sign LaVar Ball! He would ruin the tank. Haven't you heard? He's better than Jordan in his prime.

Booker tweeted 'Mhmm whateva', hopefully he was told he is being sat the last two games and as competitior not thrilled with it. He'll quickly get over that.

I hope that's the case and he is isnt pissed at our idiotic fans wanting westbrook to get a triple double. That frustration can last longer

Is he pissed at the Boston fans for cheering him on? Hopefully he has more mental fortitude than to be "upset" by fans wanting to see history.

I mean it was already the most stupid trade in league history and now this...Speechless.

And that 2018 pick is looking pretty good too. Probably another shot at #1. What would you need to add to make the Nets competitive? Quite a bit in my opinion.

GSW have clinched home court for the playoffs and the Lakers are their final opponent. If they lose the two games prior to that they might want a good tune up before starting the playoffs but otherwise they well may rest everyone they can against the Lakers, while dealing a small blow to their draft hopes.

The Suns could sit Warren for one of the games or even both and no one would give it much thought - and Warren can always use some rest. Sit Booker and it would be considered a tanking move, yet TJ's efficient scoring is more likely to win us a game than Book's volume shooting.
Not sure I agree that Warren is more valuable to this current team winning. Booker is a big part of why Warren is getting good looks. Teams are very much focusing on Booker as the #1 option and Warren would likely become that #1 option without Booker. Also Booker is our 4th quarter offense at the moment.

From what I have heard from people at the game it was really only Thunder fans that were rooting for it. Suns fans were mostly not doing anything or were booing and getting drowned out by the cheers.

Obviously he's not going to upset by the Boston fans cheering for HIM, but it isn't like he expected it or asked for it either.

I'm glad Booker got upset over that. He played with a chip on his shoulder because of that and played great in the 4th quarter. It's good to see a Suns player care about home court. It's a rarity that that would happen against a team like OKC anyways.

I feel like it's the end of the movie "Platoon" when we're getting overrun by the enemy (Lakers).

Ok boys...Get in your holes down there!

He specifically says he's "not mad" about fans cheering Westbrook and even took the blame for the team because they haven't given the fans what they wanted this season. TBF though this wasn't just a case of people rooting to see history there were also chants of MVP for Westbrook and things like that. It wasn't just simply cheering every time he got a little closer to the record, but even cheering simply because he was entering the game.

Its got to be a pretty helpless feeling for Bledsoe. His team is tanking to get the best possible pick in a draft loaded with point guards, and he is sitting on the bench and can do nothing about it.

We don't know what has been said behind the scenes. The team may very well have come to him and made it abundantly clear that they want him to be a big part of this team going forward, but need to lose and let the young guys develop so they will be better set up for next season. Sure this draft is pretty loaded with PGs, but there is also plenty of buzz that Jackson could be our target as well.

In fact, he scored the Suns first 21 points, tying his own team record for most consecutive points scored in a single game. The Suns had 25 total points in the period. Going back to Booker, it was his sixth 20-plus point quarter of the season, moving past Westbrook and Stephen Curry (five each) for most in the NBA this season.

Not even 21 and he has virtually all the Suns single game scoring records! We can't build a team around this guy?

Laker fans are reeling. We need to put them out of their misery and ours. We need to pull out all the stops for this next game. No more half measures! We can't goof this up getting soft on the tank. We need to maintain this lead at ALL COSTS.

If we lose one more game, do we clinch #2?

Lakers fans learning what it has been like to be Suns fans. Winning games at the end of a Losing season, traded picks first round picks, etc.

No, with one more loss we only clinch a tie (if the Lakers 'lose out'.) If we tie, we and the Lakers split the pp balls for slots 2 and 3... maybe there's a coin toss if the number of balls is odd.

I hope they are satisfied with the OKC win and take steps to make sure they lose these last 2. "Rest" a few "injured" players.

The thing I am looking forward the most about this season being over is the fans rooting for the team to lose, celebrating losses, figuring out how to throw games, celebrating losses, and stuff like that. I get that people want a good pick, but there is something about all this that just seems so wrong to me. The end cannot possibly get here soon enough.
