The thing I am looking forward the most about this season being over is the fans rooting for the team to lose, celebrating losses, figuring out how to throw games, celebrating losses, and stuff like that. I get that people want a good pick, but there is something about all this that just seems so wrong to me. The end cannot possibly get here soon enough.

Yup. Have to take a shower after the game. :D

Totally agree, what a "crap" season.

I found the games less watchable when Watson was playing Chandler, PJ, Duds and Barbs big minutes and we were still losing 70% of the games. It was so obviously the wrong way to use the gift this season constituted. A second mark against him is that he didn't realize that Ulis and Williams were positive contributors and he'd have won more games by giving them decent minutes. The third strike is that his X & O's are pitiful. Hopefully, UCLA beckons soon.

How do you know he didn't realize.... Suns wanted to lose and Watson sure did get Booker rolling. I LIKE WATSON

A positive side note on the tank. A lot of fans know where they stand on Len. He's still a mystery but a little less so I think. He's had significant minutes... We still see flashes but ultimately we're unsatisfied

Hopefully this is the last time we have to experience this for a long time.

I'm all for drafting BPA but TJ Warren and Derrick Jones Jr. at SF is pretty good.

Yeah we could do worse than them. Plus they'll just get better. Warren is already on his way...Not ready to give up on him yet.

Lakers fans learning what it has been like to be Suns fans. Winning games at the end of a Losing season, traded picks first round picks, etc.

If they lose their pick they'll be stuck in the stone age. We won't have to worry about them for a long time.

I think it's far worse getting edged out of the playoffs and getting some mid rounder. If it wasn't for the draft I wouldn't care near as much. Its exciting getting a potential top 3 pick.

This year yes. Next year I hope they are competing for a low playoff spot.

Tankathon today.

1. Knicks
2. Suns
3. Lakers
4. Celtics
5. Sixers

Nice scenario. Knicks take Fultz. Suns talk all over about taking Ball, even though they really want Jackson. Lakers trade the 28 pick and the 3 pick to move up to 2 and take Ball. Suns take Jackson at #3 and see who drops to #28 (maybe Giles).

Yep. Even last night I was pulling for a win, because I just can't pull for a team I love to lose.

That would be nice if they got some playoff experience. They look good lately... We'll see how that translates into next season

That's a cool scenario I could live with.

I've started doing Tankathon once a day also, this is the first day the Suns have moved down.

1. Brooklyn/Boston
2. LA
3. Suns
4. Philly

and all picks stay in place outside of the Suns and Lakers swapping.

Usually have the Lakers falling out of the top 3 with Philly getting their pick, they're typically the ones to bump them out also so they get #3 and #4.

Wow. Talk about adding insult to injury. Philly jumps the Lakers, pushing them out of the top three and then getting their pick to boot! That's a horrible scenario for the Lakers.

Hmm. Would the Lakers trade 3 and 4 for 2?

Lakers can't get #3 and #4, Philly can which I assume is what you meant. I think they might do that for #1 but #2 is a stretch. It wouldn't surprise me that much if they would though because they're loaded with young talent right now and don't really need 2 young prospects. Maybe Bledsoe and the #2 for #3 and #4? I'd do that, not sure if Philly would. If they're not interested in Bledsoe maybe the Miami picks, which are a few years out. I could see LA offering a lot to get back in if they somehow stumble out of the lottery, which could make things interesting. I think they'd be able to offer Philly a better package for just 1 of their picks.

I hope the suns do the right thing and rest some players. Mavs are in tank mode...We can't let up with two games left. McD and Sarver have been smart about this so let's see if they follow through.

There is a chance that does nothing though considering how the lottery plays into things. How will you feel if the Lakers finish with the 3rd most ping pong balls but win the draft? That could have been the Suns spot if they just won another game. We're guaranteed a top 3 spot in terms of ping pong balls, we could fall or we could move up. It's all a guessing game at this point. If we win 1 of the 2 final games and LA loses out then we split the difference in ping pong balls for 2 & 3.

I think if we limit TJ Warren's minutes or if he gets "back spasms" that last two games, plus we have to limit Chriss if he's hot, I think we can let Booker and Ulis go off in games and be OK. As long as we do not get that 3rd scorer in a game we should be OK. What I like is the games are very entertaining even though we are tanking.

Ally oop lobs to Chriss are worth the ticket price alone!

It's much like pulling the handle on a slot machine. Anything can happen, but the Suns have the more preferred odds the lower they finish.

Here is a look at the odds again.

I love the suns and I love watching them lose. I guess I've been a lot happier than you this season!

:clapping:
What? You LOVE watching them lose? I can understand wanting them to lose to get more ping pong balls, but to love watching them do it is crazy. When the Suns finally start winning, I'd hate to see how much of a band wagoner you will be.

I hate watching my teams lose, even if there is a means to the end.

What I find significant, is by being in second place in the lottery versus the third, is the odds dropping to the 5th spot is very high, plus in the third spot you have a chance of dropping to the sixth spot, which you eliminate by being in the second spot. So for me, it's not so much about moving up in the draft, as you better your odds of not dropping in the draft.
