It's good to see that the 2006 Cardinals are saddled with the "stigma of losing" when they're 1-1 and second in the division to the defending NFC Champions

Well I can see why a team with only 1 winning season in almost 20 years and a current Head Coach who's team is losing just about 2 games for every one they win just like all his predecessors in Arizona could have a stigma of losing.

I've always felt it naive to think that just because the date changed that a team was going to be different as I am a big believer in tradition or team culture affecting football programs from watching teams stay good or bad and play the same brand of football for years at a time.

However, if there has been a major change in attitude or style of play then the prior season would not be a good predictor of what is going to happen in the next.

And that is what I am hanging my hat on for the Cards for this and future seasons. That guys like Boldin and EJames have brought a major attitude change to Arizona.

Didn't Big Ben have a 104 degree fever the entire day of the game? Didn't he just have emergency appendix surgery less than 2 weeks ago?
They were in Jax as well... Ball all that up, and they were still in the game... Sounds like they didn't pretty darn well all things considered...

And on yea... Cowher didn't quit on his team, a la Denny Green...

Didnt Warner fumble 5 times? Didn't our defense have us in a position to win? Didn't he contain Alexander?

Sounds like we played pretty darn well all things considered. You could use that logic for many teams in the league.
