The safety had to blow that coverage. Two things make me think that. First, was his reaction and trying to get back on the play and, secondly, Taylor, released him to the inside. I think it's strange that two safties were the main culprits in both AFC games. Chris Crocker played like he bet on Houston and the Mundy for Clark really hurt Pittsburgh. BTW, Taylor was putrid the entire game.Gotta wonder if that last defense was a blown coverage, or if Denver just caught Pitt in a look and exploited it.
They probably wouldn't have with a healthy Steelers team. The mistake people made is that thinking with 4 guys out the Steelers could still do it.
I don't get the hate for the Steelers. They are not the Cowboys. Besides if not for the Steelers success, we would not have had the staff we have today nor had the clout to bring in the players we have had to date.
Polamalu was freelancing like a bitch
Which starters were out?It will be short lived. The Broncos are going to get killed next round. They got lucky running into a team with 4 defensive starters out. Just goes to show that even the best defensive team in the league can't afford 4 starters to go on the shelf for a big game.
It's the freaking NFL.
Gotta wonder if that last defense was a blown coverage, or if Denver just caught Pitt in a look and exploited it.

If Tebow can complete those long plays they're hard to beat with their #1 running game. Denver had the Pitt D on a yo-yo all game long: sucking them in with runs and then chucking it deep. Tebow's mid-ranged stuff is horrific, but his long ball is quite accurate.
Big advantage also is that Tebow can run and not get hurt any more than any NFL Running Back. So Denver plays 11 on 11 instead of 10 on 11 like other NFL teams. Sure you can spy Tebow but the kid might just run over your spy.
I can't believe I am about to type this, but I will be cheering for the Patriots SOOOOOO hard next weekend. I can't wait to see Belicheat run the score up on the Broncos and I can't wait to see Pretentious Tebow to get knocked down a peg or two.
That being said I will not be heartbroken if the Pats lose next weekend, even though this may very well be the easiest path to the Super Bowl they have ever had.
Gotta wonder if that last defense was a blown coverage, or if Denver just caught Pitt in a look and exploited it.
I wouldn't mind seeing the Broncs go on a run and have Tebow prove the experts wrong. It would be kinda like what the experts thought of the Cards chances in 2008.
Which starters were out?
Again I need to ask, what did Tebow do to even be perceived to be pretentious? Win ball games? Or is it because he wears his faith on his sleeve. Seems to me you're hostility is misplaced.
