Mark Jackson is freaking terrible analyst. I can't believe some teams consider him to coach their teams.

"Grown man move"
"Hand down, man down"

whatever..

You forgot; "Momma there goes that man"

He is terrible and I cant stand Van Gundy either.

The thing that annoys me about both of them is that they constantly complain about the officials. We hear;

"Back when I played that wouldn't even have been a foul." from Mark Jackson atleast once a game.

and we hear; "This is the playoffs you cant call that!" atleast 10 times from Van Gundy.

I'm not saying they aren't right, the NBA has definitely changed and they call more fouls and flagrants, but seriously these guys have been complaining about it for atleast 10 years.

The NBA 'is what it is' and Mark Jackson complaining about it EVERY GAME isn't going to change anything so just get over it dude. Why not provide some actual insight or critique of these players? Instead of crying about the officals, why dont they state the obvious and say; "That player should know that the officials are going to call that everytime, so he should play smarter than that."

Sending Perkins to OKC looks like a terrible trade at the moment for Boston. No inside presence whatsoever for the Celtics.

Maybe the memory of Horry's towel was still in his eyes. :)

yeah I agree with you. at least van gundy is entertaining and is right some of the time.

reggie miller is pretty dumb too, but at least he's entertaining. I once heard miller say "the difference in the game is this team is killing that team on the boards at both ends" and the stats showed "that team was winning the rebound battle at both ends.

charles barkley the same way. every now and then chuck says some crazy things like picking dallas to beat LA. but he is entertaining.

jackson is just too boring.

i wonder if the spurs use tony parker as trade bait to try and extend the run.
it was something they've done before so I'm sure it is an option for them. the only problem I would have with that is that tony is their youngest star. I would be concerned about his shot though. he is not knocking down the tough outside shots that he had in the past. never been known for high%, but he often hit big shots. now it seems like ginobli is the only guy that can score at the end of games. when he doesn't they lose.

I actually think the spurs should keep their core in tact, but surround them with better talent. Especially a big man to extend a helping hand to TD. All of the other big guys in the league have a partner in crime. We could go down the list(well boston traded one of theirs lol). I think that is really what seperates the spurs right now.

George Hill had a nice series vs dallas, but other than that he has failed to deliver. They need other playmakers who can score and defend when the lights come on as well. To take some pressure off of ginobli and parker.

Van Gundy would make a good coach for the Suns. I don't rate him as a coach but he could turn around the offense-only mentality that has infected the Suns franchise.

Of course Steve Nash would cry his eyes out after he already thought Terry Porter wasn't fun.

Parker sure didn't play like that in game 5 versus the Grizz. He was hitting shot after shot at the end of the game and single handedly kept the Spurs alive until they could hit the game tying shot to go to OT.

Or maybe it was in OT that he did that and won the game for them. Can't remember for sure but he couldn't miss and was clutch.

it probably was the OT....because i missed it.

I watched that game in regulation it was ginobli and neal that hit the shots to help tie it.

'Good thing for Duncan he doesn't play on a team that caters to Mike D'Antoni -- the Suns West and the Suns East. Just ask Amar'e.

Hawks taking over right before the 4th quarter, Rose isn't getting any help tonight. Friggin Bulls better start playing.

He is killin it from the 3, and everybody on the Hawks is on fire. Atlanta really came to play, Bulls better get their act together in the next game.

Jason Terry couldn't be any dumber if he tried.

i bet this game ends up being a hellacious blowout in the second half and I fear sets the tone for the entire series.

Wow. Mavs meltdown continuing in the beginning of the 3rd quarter with 3 turnovers in the 1 1/2 of the 3rd quarter. Mavs outscored 7-0 so far in the 3rd quarter.
