Time to start talking about who they can sell at the deadline. Only problem is I can't think of a player that would fetch much in a trade. Any ideas?

Last year's team found ways to win, this year's team finds ways to lose. Quite frustrating.

For me - the only guy that I would be remotely ok with trading AND who might bring some degree of value in return would be Putz. I think it ciould be worth a shot at putting Hernandez in Putz's slot as the closer if we were to make this move... That said, I am not at all certain that JJ would bring anything in return that would make this deal worth it.
We need offense... period. And i just don't see JJ, or anyone else on presently on this roster, bringing meaningful hitting value... :bang:

Every time I watch Cahill pitch I wonder why the h*ll did Towers trade Parker for him? Gives up 3 runs in the first to the Giants.

I wish ARZ would have traded those players and got Gio Gonzalez in return instead of Cahill. Huge mistake by ARZ, Gio would easily be our ace right now.

Even though it looks gloomy, the team is bound to start a winning streak. Plus, they are only 6 games out of the wild card and there are over 100 games to go. The Cardinals were like 8 games out late August last year and there season ended pretty good.

By FAR the single best all around team win tonight. Kennedy looked awesome and Hernandez pitched a 2 inning save!
Goldy looks like he has found his groove. Oour SS's continue to produce. And Parra showed off his Gold Glove in left field. Very, very nice win!

A little concerning that JJ didn't pitch at all this entire series... tonight was tailor made for him to come in for the close in the 9th. Wonder what's up there???

Gibby said that he had a bad back on the postgame show. He will be fine.
